Me and my wife have lived here for 4 years and it has been great. Every place has its ups and downs but it has been a great place to live for us. Very clean, nice amenities. The maintenance team of Mel and Andrew and truly great. Everything gets done quickly and properly. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to live in Louisville.

I toured the property with Alfredo who was incredibly professional, thorough, and kind. The property had excellent amenities such as a wine bar, coffee station, gorgeous pool, party rental room that was stunning, fitness area, golf simulator. The apartment I toured was very well kept as was the grounds. It is a fair price, but a little more than want I want to pay currently to be able to save for home. Though I am not moving in, I wanted to leave a review as I have been hunting for an apartment or house rental and everything else has been so lacking in good property management and the staff in professionalism, I wanted to sing the praises of a business doing things the right way!

after living at the ivy apartments for 13 months, i feel justified in being able to throughly review the apartments on a whole. the TL;DR will be at the bottom. not really going to get into the specifics of my living situation because it doesn’t pertain, but i will say that i lived in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit on the second floor near the trash compactor in the back (which, surprisingly, was more of a plus than a negative). the best units in my opinion are going to be the ones further back and closest to the stairs. the parking lot in the back is almost always empty and if you live right next to the stairs like i did, it made getting in and out a breeze. it also was super easy to just take the trash out on the way to your car in the morning. the apartments themselves are really beautiful. the appliances (except the shower heads) are all very modern and decently sized. the unit i lived in had 8-foot high ceilings which is one of the things i’ll miss most about this place! the kitchen has marble counters and is all very open-concept, which i loved. the bathrooms are adorned with marble tile and my bathroom had a glass door shower that was pretty large. you get a washer and dryer in-unit free of charge which i know a lot of apartments don’t offer. the apartments themselves are close to the expressway, but you really can’t hear the cars unless it’s late at night and you’re literally standing outside. things at the apartment, for me at least, were typically quiet. we had a few issues with our upstairs neighbors but that’s going to happen in any apartment living situation. i just think the floors are a bit cheaply made. water pressure in the bathrooms also isn’t that great. the amenities like the pool and gym are actually worth using though, and the entire lot makes for a decent walk with your dog. there aren’t many negatives to be said about the ivy, as in every instance i had an issue or needed help from the office or maintenance staff, they were always extremely helpful. i would 100% come back in the future if i ever got the opportunity. thanks for the memories, ivy. TL;DR: the ivy apartments are a really nice place to live if you can afford it. the location is pretty sublime and the staff are almost always helpful. just a few things here and there that aren’t perfect, but what apartment is? check it out for yourself.
