The apartments have a phenomenal location. All the supermarkets, major stores and restaurants are 5-10 minutes away. There is a walking trail near the buildings. The community here is very peaceful. Near the lake there are BBQ stations for families to enjoy.
The apartments are very spacious, and the complex is very responsive to any inquiries for repairs or any other matter.

I moved back to Village in the Park apartments 1year ago. I lived there prior to my move 6 years ago. I'm glad I moved back and actually hate I moved. I read reviews about folks not allowing the exterminator in and upset they get fined for it and also complain about preparing for the exterminator. Thats is so ridiculous, I appreciate the week ahead heads up, I appreciate the managements due diligence in keeping up with pest control. I hate bugs, and I keep my apartment clean. Management Diana G and Nicole are extremely nice. I recommend living here. I feel safe, comfortable and they keep it clean. if I call with a concern, which is rare it's addressed in a timely manner They address the concerns of the kids, but it is a parenting issue , I recommend Village in the park
This place is at the prime location of Schaumburg, near to all the key places you can think of for your day to day life and even weekend shopping. You name it and you have it i.e. Woodfield mall, Costco, Ikea, Amazon Fresh, Jewel Osco, number of restaurants, list goes on and on and on.
I love staying in Village in the Park Apartments, apartments are big, so much green area and well maintained all the time, beautiful lake, swimming pool, common area is well maintained, in budget utilities bill and so responsive and caring staff. You are taken care from every aspect once you are in VIP.
Everyday is so beautiful here. I would recommend this place to the fullest. You will not regret a single percent after moving here and cherish every moment staying here.
The staff are genuinely friendly and kind. The maintenance people are awesome!! Whenever I need a repair It is taken care of immediately. The buildings, grounds and landscaping are meticulously kept. There is a beautiful pond with a lighted sprinkler system. During the spring and summer there are SWANS, DUCKS and every so often you see a CRANE in the pond. There are benches strategically placed near the pond so that "RESIDENTS" can enjoy the scenery. We have a very nice park and play area for families with their children. There is a work out center and swimming pools for all to enjoy. Village in the Park is ideally situated with easy access to schools, shopping, transportation and the interstate. I'd like to give special thanks to (Francisco) our building maintenance man. He is always courteous, pleasant and does an excellent job. My experience at Village in the Park, in a word, FANTASTIC!!!!
When I first walked in to view this apartment five years ago I said, “This is home.” I just renewed my lease (making it my 6th year here.) Why do I love living here? The management team is Outstanding. It is so responsive to all my needs. When my air conditioner broke, the team had a new unit installed in two days! That's great management and the reason i keep renewing..I adore my 2 bedroom apartment with a patio. It is spacious, light and airy and overlooks the lovely lake nestled in a pastoral setting. The rooms are well laid out creating a comfortable living space with wall-to-wall plush carpeting, loads of closet space including a large walk in closet and a large separate storage room locker on my floor. The elevator is a must-have amenity as I am a senior and live on the top floor. The The laundry room is located in the building, a convenience I appreciate. the cleanliness and care of the building is top notch.I like the lovely entryway with two couches to accommodate those waiting for rides or school buses. As a senior this is a great amenity as I don’t drive and am constantly waiting to be picked up. This is a great location as I can walk to restaurants and stores close by.
A playground, inside and outdoor swimming pools and a well equipped exercise room and more to enjoy complex. If it takes a village to raise a child and you are a parent or a senior looking for that special pace to call home check out VILLAGE IN THE PARK and fall in love with it like I did.

I am living in this place from last one year now and already renewed my lease further. I love the place for its amazing lush green natural landscaping near all the buildings of the apartments and the pleasant lake with fresh air flowing all the time, beautiful forest trail good for morning walk, laundry in each building with enough empty washers and dryers if you are using during weekdays etc . No issues so far and enjoying the apartment and community.
Just few cons to mention though; the worst part here is no option to choose another good internet service provider (ISP) except AT&T which I believe has the worst service in any area of US wherever I have used it when there was no alternative and experienced that here also. When other ISPs are giving giga fibre; this still keeps us locked to bare minimum 25MBPS with high cost with their own rented modem/routers). There should be option to choose another ISP (preferably Xfinity/Comcast) if this needs to improve.
Another drawback of the design of the connection switch is that the Internet connection is kept in Kitchen with closed kitchen walls (never seen such mess from electrical design perspective). That makes the wifi very unstable as within the apartment itself the signals cannot reach living rooms or goes off frequently. This should primarily be kept in living rooms, so all rooms get the wifi.
The thermostat kept within the apartment to start heating during winter does not have automatic control option to set a specific temperature and it can start/stop on its own. Every time; we have to get up and keep doing it via manual increase / decrease of counter to start/stop the heating. Never seen this in any other communities earlier. Most of the places it was automatic control based on temperature set.
Lastly the passages from escalators to apartments are fully sealed with no fresh air circulation from outside. So while walking from the passage becomes suffocating most of the times with smells from all kitchens getting blocked in passage.

I have been to many apartment communities and this by far has been one of my favorites! I am so impressed with everything about this community, most importantly the management and staff. They are kind, responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, hardworking, and committed to the highest quality standards. I give them a lot of credit for working with such a large community of residents. The grounds are impeccably maintained and the buildings are well constructed and maintained. The maintenance team here works so hard and if something is wrong in your apartment they are quick to come and fix the problem. My neighbors are all great, very friendly, and keep to themselves. The location is close to shopping and transportation, it's perfect. I have never experienced roaches or any insects in my apartment. If your apartment is clean and well kept you will not have this issue. It seems that the negative reviews are the people who have moved out and owe money or left Village in The Park on not a good note. I love calling this place home!

We have been living in VIP for the past 2 years, and it is undoubtedly the best place to live in Schaumburg and reason for us to
stay longer in the Chicago suburb area.
Apartment size is pretty big, very helpful office staff and maintenance staff, well maintained corridors and buildings, big gym,Indoor and Outdoor swimming pool, beautiful lake and
huge green area around the lake good enough for multiple bbq parties and kids running around to their full capacity.
There is another big enough park in VIP where kids play freely, swings, slides and a sand area too for volleyball games.
It is near to all major stores i.e. Woodfield mall, Costco, Ikea, Jewel Osco, Amazon fresh, Bestbuy, Kohl's, UPS, Fedex, Restaurants - you name it and you have it within 3 miles of distance.
The School District is one of the best and you have brilliant doctors, dentists and pharmacy in the vicinity.
Days pass by and you do not get to know, such a comfortable life is in VIP.
I recommend this place to anyone planning to move to Chicago suburbs. you won't be disappointed and will not think of moving at all.
