I've lived at 21 Kristin for a year now and I did have my worries because of the reviews I seen but being that I've been here a year I can say I loved living here. I never had a problem with the apartment itself. Everyone at the office is so sweet and Erika made the moving process very easy and was such big help. Maintenance always gets the job done. I only wish that the package room was more up to date. Other than that I can't wait to move into my 2 bed apartment here.

Can’t thank Erika enough for making our apartment search, application process and move run so smoothly! She was very thorough, patient and communicative. She’s quite a busy young lady but consistently keeps a patient, positive, and professional attitude towards her work! Also, appreciate the maintenance guy who came by and helped with a few things I had questions about!

This review is going to sound jilted at first and disrupted like a Christopher Nolan film lol.... But bear with me. The current staff are amazing, I just need to detail the harassment and poor conditions I lived under so you'll understand how much I appreciate this place now (Erika, Alec and Crystal have all been huge in making my life less stressful than it needs to be... All three of them are absolutely terrific. I told Alec about seeing a dead bird on the lawn and within 24 hours the dead bird was gone - I just was fearful of my dog or anyone else's dog being infected. Maintenance is amazing as well - more on that later)... But I have lived at this location since September 2016. Under the Home Owners Association - everything was governed on the board's selected friends... Amy the head of the HoA, was running an official Facebook group and would ban people or mute them like a dictator wannabe for any criticism. The HoA wouldn't allow lights on the balconies... Um when it's dark AF out at night I'd like to be able to see what I'm doing. Why? Well because falling to my immediate death ☠️💀 wasn't part of the mortgage agreement. But Amy defended it. Since the new owner took over, I think things have improved. It's not perfect, but it's better than having a dictator as your roommate as Amy was. I went to Europe and lost my keys, had a horrible experience and was visibly shaking from stress from my trip. The new non-HoA let it go out of pity I guess, something the old Gestapo Regime wouldn't have. Again, Alec and Erika and Crystal are warm and friendly and helpful. Funny how blood pressure goes down when you no longer feel like you're in a prison camp... Update 4/21/2024... 21 Kristin with the new VIP trash service has finally made good on Homer J. Simpsons promises as Trash Commissioner!!! You can now leave your garbage and NEW ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Now you can Recycle ⚠️⚠️⚠️ and their service will pick it up from your door. No knock or invasiveness. Can't someone else do it is finally here!!! And with 367 units not recycling before... This environmentally aware individual loves this... Keep up with the winning!!! Update 1/1/2025: still residing at 21 Kristin. Office staff is still friendly even though the people I mentioned seem to have been PROMOTED internally at the building. It's nice to see people be promoted and not stuck in dead end jobs (been there). Still love living here. One small complaint I will make but it's the only one I've had in years, the pool summer 2024 didn't open for awhile apparently due to city inspection. Not having an advertised accoutrement available was a non-plus. But considering how the office has most things handled the HoA didn't, I'll pick my battles and I won't remove any stars for that. Still the best view in the Burbs!!!
