Loving the new renovations that the new managers are doing! New boilers and radiators, new fencing, and new security gates at both entrances coming soon! Boardwalk is doing a great job here.

The new management is amazing! Everyone went above and beyond for us. Macenia, Diana, and Kim all worked hard to get us into a beautiful spacious apartment and gave our family a place to call home. Our neighbors are welcoming and gracious making it a community.

I'm extremely disappointed in this place. I've lived here for about 15 months. Issues from the very beginning. But I won't nitpick about the "small things" like cockroaches, leaking windows or a ceiling fan that have all remained an issue for 15 months. I want to focus on why I'm moving. My unit is directly next to the laundry room. I have a replacement hip and lung issues, so physical activity is a challenge for me. Yet THREE times since October my unit has been flooded due to various pipe issues in the laundry room. My kitchen and living room get flooded, my belongings destroyed, and nobody cares. This last incident (last weekend) I had to call 911 and get the fire department to clamp the pipe to stop the gushing water coming through the wall into my apartment! They then spent an hour kindly squegeeing out my apartment so I wasn't walking in 2 inches of water while I waited for Water Mitigation to come out and put fans down (which I get to pay for the electricity to fuel for the 3 days they were in my place). Oh, and while trying to turn off the water in the boiler room (which Emergency Maintenance ASKED me to do), i slipped and fell on my replacement hip. NICE! Also, I have been without heat in my unit for almost the entirety of this month. The solution? Giving me 3 space heaters for me and my daughter to use. -10 outside and I'm using a space heater to keep warm? ZERO compensation from Management. I'm probably one of the few residents that actually PAYS rent. I'm a former First Responder (7 years, injured on the job) that is just trying to eek by in life with his daughter, and I can't catch a break. Now, to protect myself, I HAVE to move from this location and the only thing they'll do for me is waive the few days of February rent that I'll accrue before I can move. Wow, very generous! I need to hire movers to move my things; I am physically UNABLE to do it myself. Not to mention all of the other costs of moving, plus the physical exhaustion of it. I'm a quiet, easygoing tenant (even after everything I've been through I've never once even raised my voice to Management over this). Apparently my kindness is being confused with weakness. Well, I'll pursue legal resolution on this since they won't work with me. I want to say that Kim (head of Maintenance) has been great. She truly seems to be doing what she can, but it feels like her hands are tied on a lot of things. For example, the main reason for the floods are homeless people breaking into the laundry room and vandalizing things. Well, the door to that room has been broken for MONTHS, they've known about it the whole time. Apparently it's cheaper to let me get flooded than to put a STEEL door and a lock on that room. I moved here because it was the least expensive 2 bedroom I could find in this city. Since I moved in, I believe at least 3 different management companies have taken over. None have done ANYTHING to improve this place. The complex really should be condemned. Shame on these people for putting their residents through this (I'm not the only one dealing with it). Look elsewhere; look literally ANYWHERE else. Even if you're a Single parent with kids, just get a 1 bedroom at a nicer complex and deal with tight living conditions. You'll be better off, I guarantee. Edit: The Owner suggests I call them to talk things over. You never return my calls. And all of your "solutions" to my problems was moving my daughter and I into a 1 bedroom. I have a 2 bedroom and I NEED a 2 bedroom. You sat in my home and lied to my face. Unforgivable.
