I lived here for 6 months in 2024. Honestly I have nothing but good things to say about the place. The staff was always courteous. Maintenance always handled orders quickly. The complex itself is very clean and the people that live here are quality contributing members of society. The rent is fairly high but that’s a price I’m willing to pay for no drama. Hopefully I can find a place to rent like this again. 10/10 would recommend.

I lived here from 2019 - summer 2023 and loved it, both the people and the property. The leasing office staff were great to work with - someone was always available to help me out. It was always delightful to see Suzie. Maintenance were fast and did a good job any time I put in a request. The carport was an amazing amenity. I utilized it far more than I expected to. My neighbors were kind and friendly - glad I got to know them and their families a bit. The interactions on the sidewalks were charming and cordial. The place felt very safe to me, I was comfortable walking around at night. Really appreciated all of the grass and green spaces around, too. Gave the families a place to play outside. I hope they won't pave over too much of it. The nature trail was nice while it lasted. I enjoyed the large rooms and storage space in my unit. I got a lot of use out of the built in shelves. Kitchen cabinets functioned well, and the shelves felt appropriately spaced out so I never had issues fitting appliances in. The flooring and floor boards felt sturdy. All in all it felt like the building was constructed intelligently and was designed to address people's needs. Some of the surrounding businesses are worth mentioning, too. The publix 2 mins away is nice, plus the rest of that shopping center. Comporium was the best internet service I've ever had. No place is perfect so I'll list some of the negatives, the biggest downside was the smell from the (paper mill?) on some days. I only smelled it while outside but it didn't bother me much - it could be worse for someone sensitive to smells. And I'm not sure how much the total Indian Land area is affected by the smell. There's also planes landing frequently at the airport, but it never bothered me much (and i am sensitive to sounds). Traffic can be bad, too. Especially if you're trying to go to Charlotte. I ultimately left because my labor was required elsewhere in the country, but I would gladly return here. Edit: Ah, I see it's owned by Greystar now. Shame. I'm sorry for the suffering you will endure. I hope that one day we can purge this awful and exploitive corporate entity from our sacred homelands.
