I'll lay it all out, the good, the bad, and the unpretty. This is a solid 4.5 community. We've really enjoyed living at Savoy this past year! The pool is wonderful, they clean it every day except I think Sunday, and it certainly shows. The grounds team they have working keep the pond, grass, etc. looking great. The maintenance team has always resolved any issues we've had within a day. The apartments are beautifully renovated with quality materials. We love the appliances, too! The neighbors are also a huge plus. I've yet to meet a mean one at all. The apartments are SO quiet as well; you can't hear the neighbors next to or below you and only sometimes can hear footsteps above but it isn't disturbing. I've even had a neighbor ask if we heard them SCREAMING at a football game and they were shocked when we told them we couldn't hear a thing. It's VERY pet friendly, and that was so important to us! The patios and balconies are also plenty spacious and the residents here really take pride in their appearance. The newly renovated fitness center is also a big plus. The apartments are quite spacious, and the garages are incredibly spacious as well! I truly don't have a long list of negatives, but to be fair, I will be honest and list them so that if you're considering, you get the full picture. First, to address the shooting another commenter mentioned, Savoy management was on top of it the night/morning of the incident. They cooperated with police and, because it is a police matter, they can't divulge a ton of information. You can search for what happened and you'll find it was a personal (and very sad) situation. In fact, the police weren't even 'called' - they had heard the gunshot as they were nearby and were on scene within minutes. An officer even happens to live in a building near where it happened. I feel incredibly safe here and would have no problem walking my dog at 2:00 AM. In addition, I personally had some frustrations with a few things. First, the pool furniture in 2022. It was 'on order' and so the whole community shared about 12 chairs for half the summer. Again, this was 2022 and since there is plenty of furniture, but it showcases an example. Second, the fitness center was closed for the majority of our 1 year lease. It took what seemed like forever to open (and opened with old equipment). New equipment wasn't made available until ~10 months into our lease. They also do not have a playground for children or a dog park. The gates go under repair every 6 weeks or so. There are no signs indicating direction for the buildings, so visitors or delivery drivers get lost quite often. The valet trash has had a few instances where it wasn't picked up for days during the regular schedule. Packages are received in the office. Sometimes, because of my schedule, I won't get a package for a week or more because when I have the time in my schedule to go to the office during office hours there isn't a person available (likely showing a unit or something I'm sure). To be fair, I have a really tight schedule most days, so I assume other residents likely don't feel this is as big of a frustration as I do. This also could be because there has been a lot of turnover in their staff this year, and that can feel unsettling and compound some of these management-related issues. Now, since the fitness center and pool are complete, you likely won't encounter these problems. However, I think it's important to note how long it can take for renovations to be completed to set expectations for any future endeavors. If Savoy adds a dog park, a child's playground, and a package delivery locker room (and hired and retained a full staff), it'd be the most perfect place to live in Tally. As it is now, I'd highly recommend it and could see myself living here for a long time. You'd have a hard time finding any place that is perfect, but I hope my very honest review shows that it's pretty dang close!

We LOVE The Savoy!! We lived here when we moved to Tally, but recently bought a house so we had to move. We were genuinely sad to leave! The pool and gym are amazing (best of any apartments we toured in town, and we toured eight others), our apartment was very quiet, the grounds are pretty, well kept, and nice to walk, and our neighbors were very sweet. The folks in the front office are the absolute best. Eunice & Michael are awesome and went out of their way for us constantly! Eunice even found us the exact apartment we were looking for and called us the second it became available, which she didn’t have to do at all since it definitely would have sold! If you’re unsure where to live and want a quiet place with great amenities and very sweet and helpful folks, definitely choose The Savoy.
