I have my issues with Parke Laurel (very thin walls, creaky loud uneven floors that damage furniture because of unevenness, nails sticking out of the floor, out of date kitchen, sagging balcony, frequent car break-ins, mold in the AC ducts, shower drain doesn't work very well, etc.) but I wanted to give accolades to Mr. Lewis in the maintenance department. The five stars are for the maintenance team, NOT Parke Laurel overall. I had maintenance come to fix an issue early in the morning. I was not expecting them at that time and was VERY fast asleep in the back room. Some context, I was sleeping with earplugs in and two fans AND an air purifier running (I unfortunately did not hear anything). I have an alarm system that goes off if triggered. Because I was in my apartment when maintenance needed to enter, my alarm started going off and was beeping for a while before Mr. Lewis made the executive decision to come into my apartment (after multiple calls, texts, knocks, and Ring doorbell ringing). Mr. Lewis has always been amazing and has handled my maintenance requests swiftly and professionally. My alarm was going off for a while and he was concerned about my health (could've been carbon monoxide, health issues, passed out, etc). Thankfully nothing was wrong with me...I just REALLYYYYY enjoy sleeping. I am so very thankful for the concern and care that Mr. Lewis has not only for me but for the other residents of Parke Laurel as well.
