Very professional and responsive leasing office and maintenance. Leasing documentation is easily accessible. Hairston excellently handled my quick move-in and got me up-and-running within a week or so. Common spaces are clean and orderly. Surrounding neighborhood is very nice to walk through and offers a lot to do/see. Apartment is spacious, quiet, and has large windows that offer plenty of sunlight for my plants to flourish. Wonderful experience!

I live on the 6th floor, in their standard 1Br/1Ba layout "The Park."
Pros:
-Location. You are only 2 blocks away from the monument, which is where there are a lot of restaurants, bars, and people walking around. But this street is extremely quiet. No one is loud outside after 11pm, even earlier on weekdays. Also built directly on top of the marketplace, where there are many food stalls that are all pretty good. People have described Mt Vernon as a food desert, since the main grocery store, Eddies, closed. But this location is on the southernmost part of Mt. Vernon, so its only about 4 blocks away from Streets market. It's a nice grocery store with most things you'd ever need, even a small Asian section. But it is expensive, so for bulk, I drive to Safeway.
-Staff. The folks that work in the leasing office are all very nice, never had a negative experience with any of them, and they know my name.
-Maintenance. The drain for my dryer was clogged since the day i moved in, I tried to fix it myself, it improved, but not great. Put in a work order and the maintenance team fixed it two days later.
-Internet. There's 3 ethernet ports in the living room, and 2 in the bedroom. They all connect to a patch panel hidden in the wall next to the breaker. I put a switch in there, so I have reliable gigabit wired internet.
-Pool. The swimming pool is in the other building on the same block, on the second floor. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and it was just me and the lifeguard for a while lol. Some other people showed up eventually. It's actually a beautiful pool imo, has a shaded section, nice chairs outside, can look out onto the street.
-Huge windows. I love natural light, and you get plenty of it with the enormous windows they have. Double paned glass, which blocks out most street noise, besides the ambulances from Mercy hospital nearby.
-Granite counters, dark brown cabinets, stainless steel appliances. It's a nice aesthetic.
Neutral
-Noise. There is absolutely no noise in between walls. I've never heard a TV, voice, or anything from my adjacent neighbors. But you can certainly hear everything going on in the hallway.
-Ceilings. I actually love the tall ceilings, but the reason I put them in neutral is because whenever I am on the phone or a teams call, people think I am talking to them from an 18th century cathedral. A rug might help dampen the reverb :)
-Not much going on in the building. Most of the residents just keep to themselves it seems. Not a huge problem for me, cause I'm also a fan of just staying inside. But would be cool if there were events or something for residents to build a sense of community.
Cons
-Package theft. I had a package stolen, but that was mostly due to the negligence of the delivery driver. Any package should be taken to the mailroom and it is secure there. Locked up and you get an email with a QR code to get in. But if the driver doesn't actually bring it in, it's just a coinflip. If someone is in the leasing office, they'll bring it in for you. Just unlucky timing on my part. I got a full refund, but just annoying to deal with.
-Don't trust the small elevator. I got stuck in it before and heard the same from other residents. Thankfully, the other two normal size ones and the freight elevator work fine.
Overall, the pros far outweigh any cons, the management is great, especially in comparison to some horror stories I've heard about other buildings in the area. Really enjoy living here.

I would highly recommend 520 Park Apartments! I have lived here for almost 2 years, and needed to break my lease to move out-of-state, otherwise I would have been happy to stay here for as long as I lived in Baltimore City.
I moved into 520 Park from out-of-state, sight unseen, into a studio. I very much enjoyed the high ceilings and massive windows, which made the studio feel spacious. Maintenance staff was always great and quickly fixed any issues that I submitted (clogged showers, wobbly toilet, AC stopped working).
For the renewal process, I was worried about massive rent hikes like I had heard about from other apartment buildings around the same time. However, the increase ended up being much lower than expected, and was even lower than the market rate for the apartments at the time.
A few months into my renewed lease, the building had a new leasing office (the current one). The new leasing office, especially Colleen, were wonderful! They went out of their way to help their residents and make improvements to the place. For example, Colleen helped me get set up with the electronic access door access system, which I didn’t even know existed until then! Two treadmills with out-of-order signs for months and months were replaced with brand new machines.
The moving out process was painless. The leasing office was able to accommodate my inspection time. Rajko performed the inspection, he was lovely and made the whole process quick and easy. I received my security deposit in the mail within a month of moving out.
Outside of the apartment, the location is nice and central to Baltimore City. I used to run down to Inner Harbor on the weekends, or walk up to Penn Station to take the Amtrak to visit family/friends. The Baltimore’s Farmers Market under the JFX is a quick 15 minute walk away, and was where I purchased most of my groceries in the spring/summer/fall.

I recently moved into 520 Park Apartments, and Colleen was very helpful during this process. I greatly appreciate her kindness and patience during this stressful time. If anyone is looking for an apartment in Mount Vernon, I would highly recommend checking out 520 Park Apartments. Colleen is lovely and wonderful to her tenants. Her prompt responses and helpful attitude helped make my transition to Baltimore all the more pleasant.

The decision to move to Baltimore for dental school was a mix of excitement and apprehension. While I eagerly anticipated the next chapter in my professional journey, I couldn't shake the feeling of leaving behind familiarity. However, settling into 520 Park has transformed this transition into an unexpectedly delightful experience.
Each day brings a fresh revelation of the community's impeccable standards. From the meticulously maintained facilities to the inviting sunlit courtyard, well-equipped gym, and the poolside grilling area, every aspect reflects a commitment to excellence.
Yet, what truly sets 520 Park apart is the caliber of its staff. The management team's personalized approach, addressing us by name and consistently extending respect and support, has fostered a sense of belonging. Engaging with them in meaningful conversations has been a highlight of my residency here. Similarly, the maintenance crew's efficiency and unwavering dedication further enhance the living experience. Their promptness and consistent results speak volumes about their professionalism.
Living amidst such dedicated individuals, characterized by integrity and grace, has made 520 Park feel like more than just a residence—it's a community nurtured by genuine care and professionalism. The people here have truly made it a place I'm proud to call home.

I recently moved into 520 park with my significant other. Overall this is a great apartment for the Mt. Vernon area in Baltimore. The amenities and atmosphere are great, and the price for your apartment is one of the best in Baltimore. Lately, the staff and office were incredibly helpful in helping us select the apartment and the whole move in process.

I can tell this management cares about its residents… and that’s not something I can say about 95% of other apartment buildings anywhere you look. It started off rough, but they personally reached out to make things right. I moved in a month or so later, and have been treated with nothing short of “white glove” service. Maintenance is on top of things, I was left a bag of candy on my door for Halloween (something small, but “big” at the same time). And today, they had a free brunch for residents with omelette chefs, mimosas, and more. These gestures (on top of many other things it would take too long to mention) are signs of management who GENUINELY care about its residents and their living experience. One month in and already loving this place! Definitely recommend if you are on the look for a new apartment!
I have been living at 520 park apartments for over 6 months now and it has been a wonderful experience! The building and the amenities are very nice and the leasing office staff is incredible. Everyone is very accommodating and does their best to help out with whatever you need. Colleen, especially, is a very lovely person and is always incredibly helpful!
