Really nice apartments and Gaby at the front desk is very professional and knowledgeable. She was very courteous and helpful in answering all of my questions about the apartments, neighborhood, and even the surrounding schools. The complex itself looks very nice and clean. The people that I did run into seemed very friendly as well.

I moved into Avalon on River Road in Wilton in March 2024 and have had some difficulties with my transition, particularly moving with 2 large dogs from a 3000 sq ft house on a quiet street to an apartment with close neighbors presenting new sights and sounds that made my dogs anxious and bark which constantly upset my autistic child. It was challenging for everyone! I asked Karen to break my lease early and she was very understanding and accommodating. Karen treated me with the same kindness, respect, and empathy as she did when I first met her as a prospective tenant. She is an exceptional asset and strong advocate for the residents in the community, and I want to share my experience to let prospective tenants know that if you move from a house to an apartment and it doesn’t work out, Karen will go above and beyond to try and help you out the same way she goes above and beyond to help you move in. Another important mention is the maintenance department. I have had the pleasure of several service requests handled by Michael and am extremely grateful for his prompt response and skillset to get the issues resolved. Michael’s professionalism and pleasant demeanor made everything easier for me and my family. Especially when the reason for an encounter with maintenance is to fix something broken, which could be a little uncomfortable (like a clogged toilet from my child unravelling an entire roll of toilet paper to see if it would flush, or window blinds my dogs damaged from freaking out after seeing a neighbor outside). He was even great with my dogs, which you can see in the photo attached. Michael was very friendly every time we saw him, and really made us feel cared for and at home in a new place when nothing else really felt like home. Thank you for everything, Karen and Michael!
