Lived in there for close to two years and generally satisfied. The building is walk distance away from either Newport or Exchange Pl PATH stations, so you get pretty accessible trains to midtown or downtown. The concierge services are great and handles your packages/misc request well 24-hrs without extra charge.
Have been living over here for couple of years, excellent luxury building to live in. I find it extremely convenient.
Building is well managed, clean and with lots of amenities. Superior service all around, maintenance items quickly acknowledged and resolved. Building staff is great, very attentive and courteous. The residents are very diverse and friendly and easy to get along. Once the staff members get to know you they are very helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to help you.
The building management is very active and involved in day to day operation of the building.
5/5 stars best building in jersey city by a landslide. After living here a few year ago and now being back for a work relocation I explored my other options and buildings, while you might find a few others $100 cheaper or so what’s not included in those prices or their competitors hidden additional fees is what makes 65 bay stand apart. I made the last minute call to stick with what I already knew to be great service and a quality experience and 65 bay did not disappoint. In fact my entire lease signing process alone solidified that I made the right call to return and call 65 bay home. Brianna L from their leasing team is simply incredible at her job and customer service. I called on a Monday asked a million plus questions and she ensured I had a fully executed lease in place by end of day Tuesday to ensure I could move in the following Monday - all over a holiday weekend none the less! Brianna truly made my experience returning here everything and more and I can’t wait to move in!

I just moved into 65 Bay, so I can only speak to the move-in process so far. That said, it went so well that I hope it's indicative of the rest of my time here! Building management made our move incredibly smooth and took a lot of the stress off our shoulders. Richard and Caroline were very supportive and patient with my (many!) questions. Use of the loading dock and reserving the freight elevator were easy, and the concierge/door persons were incredibly helpful and kind, especially during our furniture deliveries. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and I feel so spoiled by their help!
Our unit on the south facing side of the building is so much more spacious than the virtual tour let on, and the view of the city and Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island simply cannot be beat. The fixtures in the apartment are really nice, and the amenities are impressive as well. I'm very excited to live here!

I recently moved into the building and wanted to say how happy I am that I moved here. I looked at 8 other luxury apartment buildings in Jersey city from downtown to exchange place to paulus hook, and 65 Bay Street was the best in my opinion.
My great experience started with the leasing staff, (Samantha in particular), who worked really hard to get me the type of apartment I wanted for the price range I was looking for. Initially I had a difficult time as apartments go quickly in the area, but Sam stayed in contact with me, always answering my emails and calls expediently, and truly made me feel like she cared.
Now that I am all settled in, Sam continues to answer questions that I have and the management has been amazing as well. The apartment was COMPLETELY clean when I moved in (and I always have to clean the shelves and baseboards and refrigerators again when I move), but this building was immaculate.
People are constantly cleaning, the workers, front desk people, and residents are all very pleasant; everyone says hello on the elevators and in the building.
In reference to other bad reviews, the water is hot and whatever problem that was has been resolved. Also, be careful that people are not posting about Trump Plaza which is the condo building next door as I came across that as well.
Overall, I am extremely happy here and would recommend the building to anyone.

Great building. Lived there for almost 5 years and highly recommend it. Building is well managed, clean and with lots of amenities. Superior service all around, maintenance items quickly acknowledged and resolved, continuous efforts from Erin and team to deliver luxury living standards. Stress free living, great community and neighbours.
I have been living here from 2017 Feb. and will leave this Apt by the next month since I finally could purchase my own home.
I want to give 4.5 stars but I cannot choose .5...
Anyway, I would like to give my fair review from my last two year's experience.
First, like everyone pointed out shower -hot water issue, yes.. there was an issue. It did very bother me too. However, it has been solved recently. I never had an issue with hot water during last two month I guess. I think it is finally fixed from the last maintenance. Now I could get the very hot water instantly.
Second, I don't know why people complained about the maintenance service. I actually had a problem with my laundry machine. But whenever I requested through online, the team came in the next day and tried to solve it. They even replaced my entire laundry machine.
Third, there are some of review regarding the management team... I didn't need to reach out to them for last two years and I started to communicate with them recently for my lease termination. So far, they are very kind and patient. My lease should be end by the end of March, but I could not let them know if I will extend the lease or terminate since I don't know if I can buy a house or not. But they understood my situation and allowed me to extend one month lease.
Regarding the complaints for receiving back the security deposit......I don't know yet since I am still live here. I will update how it goes after I move out.
I like the most in this apartment was the Kitchen! All appliances are from GE cafe series..which is the luxury line from GE. And the plenty of cabinet storage space including the kitchen Island, pantry with all soft close hardware ..
Very convenient location, concierge, doorman, nice gym....although I didn't use the amenity facilities often since I am not that diligent and mostly tired after coming back home..but they are very good to have in the apartment.
Considering the rent price around this area, it is more affordable plus has more facilities. I did compare the price with URBY before moving into this apartment, but that was way more expensive at that time plus much smaller unit.
So, I would say I mostly was happy while I was living in this apartment - my unit has a den! so it was much better too.

As a resident, great place to live! Maintenance is quick to respond to requests, nice gym and clean (just wish users would re-rack weights), amenities, amazing concierge (KB and Destiny are so nice and on top of packages, etc.).
PROS - efficient elevator system, close to several shops/restaurants/etc., clean, organized, beautiful views
CONS - the area is loud with lots of sirens but you tune it out over time, expensive rent (heard many residents speak of rent spikes), street parking is tough for visitors and residents
