The places have improved tenfold on getting maintenance out since they had new hires yeah kids are sometimes an issue but it's a trade off living anywhere community wise since the leasing replaced the washer and dryer unit last year laundry hasent been a problem most pest issues get resolved if you put a call in Monday since pest control goes out Fridays despite some of the more rowdy people here and there it goes with all complexs you're bound to have those few but still having a 2 level with the square footage you get for roughly 215 to 270 on section 8 since they accept the voucher you can't beat it most nights it is pretty quiet from the hustle and bustle of the city speaking of the city it's good there's a bus stop directly on old buckroe so you are literally 2 busses or 1 away from most of the city action (town center/the vangaurd/glazed doughnuts/stuft/riverside fox hill/armistead animal hospital/hampton convention center)most accessible via the 115/114 so most of you've shopping and entertainment is within good distance of the urban area not to mention norfolk isn't far accessible mostly via the 961 we're there's a lot of entertainment as well so if you are looking for a spot on section 8 or otherwise it's advisable to do it when slots for lease open up they fill units quickly also I've made friends with a few neighbors on my block i go to the food bank around the corner with me on Fridays another thing good since Nickerson is around the corner with food lion/family dollar with the Friday food pantry so most of your needs right there in one spot i figure this review would be helpful for newcomers to Hampton who need their own resources but the area is pretty plentiful lived in Newport News most of my life but the area here is a lot more convenient especially if you don't have a car and are dependent on public transit and having a church not far is another plus so yea ill take the occasional rowdy kids/neighbor every so often i feel they have cracked down on standards for tenants or that could just be me since we haven't gotten a lot of emails also the landscaping is pretty kept up with even with a few things I've had the community is good

I have been at Buckroe Pointe for 3 years now, and I love it here. It’s quiet, the neighbors are friendly and mind their business unless a problem arise then they come together(love that), and they have events for you to attend during holidays and special occasions. The office staff is friendly, and maintenance is good as well.
