I spent a year at The Drake - and my experience was great. Right from the get go my move in was seamless, Randy and Celeste at the front helped make the move very easy, and were always available throughout my time here. There's a great front desk (concierge-esque) where our packages were received, and we could pick them up whenever, and if they were too big - they would be dropped off inside the apartment. I never lost a package, and felt very safe at all times during my time here. I would highly recommend staying here if anyone's looking for a place in downtown DC! There's a lounge upstairs with wifi, and a kitchen and room that you can reserve if you're hosting. There's a 24x7 helpline available for any issues you may encounter. The extended staff who can help setup stuff in your apartment are friendly and resourceful. The public areas are clean all the time! All in all - 5 stars! I wish I got to stay here a little longer :D

I lived here for 3.5 years and it was the best place I’ve come across in DC. The apartments are well maintained, with high quality appliances, kitchens, and bathrooms. The people working in maintenance are very helpful and fast, and the building staff are kind. I enjoyed having access to the roof and small gym as well. I would have liked more coworking space (there is just one reservable room), and the bike room is not very easy to access with a bike, but those are tiny complaints. I would definitely consider returning if I move back to DC!
