Simply put, Homes of Prairie Springs really is the hidden gem of Richardson and are unmatched by any other apartment in the area. I am impressed with the professional, friendly management and staff. They are responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, and committed to highest quality standards. Rocio was a superstar on all fronts and made the leasing process a positive experience. The grounds are impeccably maintained, as are the amenities and spacious, well-appointed apartments. Also, the maintenance team is unrivaled in comparison to any other property I have lived in since I moved to Texas in 2017. They are top-notch and handle any problem promptly and professionally. Finally, as a Risk Manager I am always looking for proactive versus reactive measures in my day-to-day work and have never understood why apartments did not have more proactive processes in place. Once again impressed when I received an email informing me about my unit’s inspection. They were in and out in under ten minutes and now I have peace of mind that everything in my unit is functioning properly. “In an effort to maintain your apartment home to the highest possible standards, we are planning a yearly preventative maintenance inspection. This representative will be present to change your AC filter, check the smoke detector batteries, inspect for leaks, check all your appliances to ensure they are operating properly and check your front door hardware.” Having lived here over a month now the experience continues to be amazing. and I highly recommend Homes of Prairie Springs for your next apartment home.

I lived here for 4.5 years. I loved my apartment so much that I frequently wished I could buy it. Private but connected. Lofted above folks' garages so that I had no worry of disturbing them. Lots of windows. Some deficits in cabinet space and shelving but overall spacious and with a beautiful layout. On seeing the trees, my partner and I both fell instantly in love. So many birds, and I loved sitting by the pond out front. I equally loved the HOPS team—Sindy and Alberta especially. Everyone was so good to us (and to me once I was on my own). On move-in, we got a care package. The info packet was in a folder with artwork of a sweet Black family on it. There were snacks, cleaning supplies and toiletries ... with ... Braille on them!!! I will never forget that. It's not often that I as a blind person get that thoughtful kind of access. They were overall very accommodating. Couldn't read the lease papers due to digital accessibility issues? Cool, we sat down with a coffee and reviewed them together. FedEx stuck an oversized package in the mail room again, or abandoned one without assigning it a locker? HOPS helped me out. Construction on the property? It was disruptive this past year, but any time a new project began, they walked with me to make sure my routes were safe and kept an open line of communication with both myself and the vendors. Newsletter time? They started e-mailing on request, and I see they're making strides with web and document accessibility. Community event going on? I was invited in a manner that I could read, and if I participated, the Apartment Life team looked out for me. And on my first birthday alone? Y'all. They checked on me. It's clear that kindness is the standard here. I appreciate the warmth and care I was shown living here, perhaps especially when I had to break lease due to a devastating emergency. I was treated with empathy and dignity the whole way through, and they helped me navigate the process with grace. I cannot recommend HOPS enough. Mark my words, if I can help it, I'll be back in one of those treehouses someday. ❤️
