I have lived at Barrington Lakes for 3 going on 4 years. This place is the closest thing to enclosed nature as you will ever get. No building position is cookie cutter , three major "lakes" and a firm splash of wild life👌The Indoor/outdoor pool is unmatched ( . ) OH and the club house is filled with Jungle vegetation , no joke. Take a look around, you'll be convinced. OLD ONLINE REVIEWS SHOULD BE DISREGARDED. Previous property management was unsavory. Currently, Judith, the new property manager has gone firmly out of her way to give me peace of mind on current issues and apartment transers. I've only seen major improvements on the property since she's been in office. There is a new sheriff in town, her name is Judith 🤠🤝😉

I moved in to this apartment community in February 2021. The first person and main person I had talked to through this experience was Athena Phillips. Athena and I had the pleasure of meeting on a Saturday in January. She showed me two apartments. My mind was blown! Both had a fireplace, a large balcony, beautiful kitchen, updated fixtures and the layout I was looking for!! Athena walked me through everything I needed to know in detail and probably several times because I can't remember a damn thing. She was patient, and thoughtful, and her aura just screams happy lady. So far the neighbors are just amazing! A lot of parking in the visitor spots as well as outside the Gated area. My kids are happy here. There are things here that are to my availability that I could never imagine a painting all in one area. I'm referring to an indoor outdoor pool, and pool tables oh, and a nice office Center, and a decent sized party room for get-togethers or whatever. Maintenance keep the area clean of rubbish, and they're quick responding to any issues within your apartment. All in all I may have only been here for a short time but I am so happy!

My husband and I lived at Barrington Lakes for 2 years. We had an overall great experience. When we needed maintenance help they were at our apartment within a couple of hours or the very next day to get the work done. We also had some neighbors that sometimes put their music up loudly, but once we were in our apartment we could not hear anything. We were on the top floor so I cannot say much about hearing above neighbors walking around. The gym is great! However, because of covid they did close the gym for some time and so my husband and I started walking/jogging around the lake. It is beautiful! The staff takes such good care of the place. All these things are great, but the real reason I am writing this review is to talk about Amy Lyman, Senior Property Accountant. We moved out of Barrington Lakes, growing family just needed a bigger place, a couple of weeks ago. We just got our moving out statement. There was a trash removal charge of $50. We asked Amy about it and she said that the storage unit had some things in there that were not cleaned out, she sent us a picture, so they charged us for that. We told Amy that we never used the storage unit and the storage unit had a Christmas tree and a box with the name Laura on it. We pointed out to Amy that we do not celebrate Christmas and that none of our names are Laura, so we can conclude that the stuff in the storage unit is not ours. Amy was so great! She apologized immediately for Barrington Lakes not cleaning out the storage unit before we moved in. She did say that she needed to speak to her supervisor, Hayley, and that she would call me back. I totally understood that and appreciated any help she could give us. She called me back really fast and said she talked with her supervisor and that she would remove the $50 trash removal charge and thanked us for bringing this mistake to their attention. I have had really bad experiences with landlord companies in the past. They never listened and just charged you whatever they wished. Amy was nothing like them. She was kind, pleasant, professional, and willing to work with us. Barrington Lakes you should give Amy a raise and make sure you keep her because she has amazing customer service and is the main reason I am writing this positive review. I rarely ever write reviews, but Amy Lyman was so great I wanted to give her a shout out. Thank you Amy!
