This is an overdue review of the Reserve apartments over in Alexandria. My gf (now wife) and I lived there for 4 years and loved every bit of it. It was the perfect location to be near Old Town and DC while somehow capturing a small little oasis of wildlife and tranquility.
That refuge allowed us to form some cherished memories with frequent squirrel visitors, birds, and friendly neighbors. It kept us sane over the pandemic and we couldn’t have asked for better at the time.
We haven’t lived there in 3 years but (at least back then) management and the upkeep were great. Maintenance staff was accommodating, helpful, and never once let our cats escape.
Management was perfectly fine too and were always friendly. Special shout out to Parwin and Nathan for always answering our questions and generally being great to residents there.
All in all, it was a great place to live and we miss it. My wife and I even took unofficial engagement pictures in front of the willow tree.
My husband and I have lived here for about a month and we could not be happier! We feel like we are at home, from the beautiful landscaping to the overall peacefulness of our home. Our dogs love going for walks it feels like we are in the suburbs. The few times we have had to call maintenance they have been top notch not only with the quick response time but to the quality of service they provide. We are so happy to have found a place that we can call home❤️ Nathan has been very helpful and welcoming along with everyone in the leasing office and we look forward to staying here for our time here in Alexandria!
Moved into this place in November and I'm a Big Fan of this complex. Amenities, location, price, could not beat. I specifically loved the front office staff, Nathan in particular. He and his team were able to answer all my concerns professionally and timely. The apartment itself is great with upgrades throughout. I highly recommend to anyone moving to this area.
After living here for a month, I have nothing but great things to share! Relocating from Florida, I was looking for a place that was close enough to the district while still feeling spacious/not like a city high rise. This place is perfect for me with my car and dog. Spacious/green for my dog, not expensive parking, and the shuttle to the metro made this a perfect fit. The office staff has been wonderful and very willing to help with any questions or concerns. Very thankful to have moved here!

I just recently moved in the Reserve at Potomac Yard and after many attempts to find the perfect place, I have done it! Throughout this process, Parwin was understanding, welcoming, and helped make my transition from a two bedroom apartment to a one bedroom apartment easy. The whole team here has been welcoming. What I appreciate most about the apartment I am in now is that it is clean, accessible, and easy to walk around. The trash valet is a plus and the location is super! Thank you to the team and especially Parwin for helping my move be so positive and easy!

We moved in Summer 2024 and have had a very positive experience from the staff, as well as our time as residents.
The self-guided tour was smooth, giving us flexibility to see the whole (gated) complex. They were even able to accommodate our tight timeframe, allowing us to move-in only days after submitting the application on an available unit. Big thank you to Parwin and Nathan for being prompt with responding to all of our questions.
In addition to the weekly food truck visits, there is community events, and a newly renovated gym space. It's very pet-friendly and has a great amount of walking space. Hard to beat the location too being so close to Del Ray, a Metro stop, and the 4-mile loop trail. We're happy to call Reserve at Potomac Yard our home!

We've been living here about 2 months now and I've been waiting for the newness to wear off before writing my review. We still love living here and are very pleased with the community and the leasing office. When there are issues the maintenance staff are super quick to fix any issues. i definitely recommend looking for a place to live here.
This apartment complex was a pleasure to work with. Everyone was always so kind, caring, and prompt. The amenities are wonderful, the staff are caring, and they made the move-in/move-out process so incredibly smooth. Highly recommend working with Nathan, Ashli, Ali, and Samar in their leasing office. The maintenance staff was phenomenal and prompt every time an issue came up - they were communicative and knowledgeable and made everything run smoothly.
