The property is well-maintained in a friendly quiet neighborhood. The onsite manager is incredibly helpful, and the full-time maintenance person Shawn is responsive and efficient. There is an adjacent park with a tennis court and a small playground, which is convenient. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment for anyone seeking a quiet and well-maintained place to live in Austin.

Been living here 8 months & I can honestly say it's the best renting experience I've ever had. I love the close proximity of the park it's really convenient. We're close to so many things so never have to go very far for anything. We live next to the pool & it's very peaceful maybe only had loud gatherings a hand full of times but they always made sure to quiet down at 10pm sharp. All maintenance requests are handled promptly. My neighbors are saints & everybody minds their business for the most part. Everybody is pretty friendly. There's always parking. They also approved me for my apt very fast when I really needed it. So thank you to Mary too who is also just the sweetest. I'm sure we will be renewing our lease & I'm happy to stay.

We have been living here for about 8 months now and have had an absolutely wonderful experience so far. Our unit is a two bedroom, one bath and is great for two people. It’s not too big, but not too small either. It’s just right for us and all of our houseplants and decorations. Mary, the property manager is always friendly and truly cares about her residents. Shon, the repairman is always nice and very responsive when it comes to maintenance requests. We had a problem with our A/C condensation causing a drip in the bathroom but it was fixed just a couple hours after we sent the email. We have not had a problem since. The entire property is always quiet, save for the occasional landscaping crew who takes care of the trees and various plant life all around. Our neighbors are very pleasant as well and we’ve had no issues about noise. Anything we can hear through the walls is usually nothing more than normal apartment noises and the building settling. The on-site laundry is fairly small, but there is a Washtopia just around the corner for larger loads. The pool is always clean as well, and the nearby park is a great place to go on an evening walk (if it’s not too hot outside of course). There are so many great things to love about this place and we can’t recommend it enough, and we are hoping to renew our lease again and again. Thank you!

Really enjoyed my last 2 years living here, Mary (manager) and Shawn (maintenance) delivered great service and were always really prompt with requests. Amenities included a small laundry room (6 washers/6 dryers, was never a problem finding a free machine), gate access to the neighboring park, and a swimming pool. There is also a food truck park a short walk away, with amazing food choices like Shoyu Sugar and Thai Time. There is also parking aplenty, you will never have a problem finding a space near your unit. Strongly recommend Hidden Timber if you are looking for a living space that is simple and quiet while being relatively cheaper than the surrounding area.

My first own apartment and i loved it! Its directly connected to a park, has side walks, its very well keep and quiet. Staff is amazing as well. Only problem i had was there was no light and fan in the bedroom.

Nice and comfy apt. Had a 2 bed 2 bath with a full kitchen and laundry area (washer dryer not included). Never had any issues with noise from surrounding rooms or outside and in the 4 years I was there, I never had any worries about nefarious activity either. What few repair needs or other issues I had were all resolved quickly and amicably and the overall condition of the complex was always good and clean. Bonus to the fact that the mail room is protected by a coded gate. The staff were always kind to me and my roommate and we wish them all the best!

I would like to highly commend the property managers, Robin and Mary, for their outstanding response to the recent winter storm (Feb 2021). They asked all the residents to light water stream all the faucets, in anticipation of the freezing temperatures. When we lost power, some of the buildings had busted pipes. As quick as possible, they had the water turned off to minimize water damage. Some residents left their apartments so Robin kept everyone informed by text, so we would know when we could return. When the water was restored, Robin allowed tenants without water to get water from a vacant apartment. Shon, the maintenance man, worked tirelessly taking care of the downed tree limbs, water damage, restoring water, and getting the boiler back working. A big thank you to all 3 of them. I wrote a review for Hidden Timber Apartments one year ago. The only thing that has changed from that review is that I have now been here two years. I still enjoy living here so I am re-posting my review for those of you apartment hunting. “I’ve been living at Hidden Timber Apartments for one year. I absolutely love it. I enjoy lounging on my 2nd floor balcony overlooking the courtyard, shaded by large Elm trees. The grounds are well maintained and clean. There is plenty of parking. Hidden Timber is only 5 minutes away from HEB grocery store, Hwy 183, and many other amenities. They have a small pool that is always sparkling clean and a laundry facility. Mary, the property manager, is always pleasant and attentive to all my needs. The apartments are old but well maintained. Shawn, the maintenance guy, is very friendly and takes care of any work orders usually within 24 hours. It’s reassuring to live somewhere where they care about the tenants living conditions.”

Mary and Sean have been two of the most helpful people since my move! This was my first apartment living in Austin Texas and it was an amazing experience. No issues at all. Quiet apartment complex with lots of parking!! Highly recommend these apartments!!
