Wow! What an wonderful place to live. My girlfriend and I stay at 918 and we couldn't love it more. Located downtown it gives us walkable access to many (if not most) things we need. we find ourselves leaving the car parked (in a spiffy, secured lot) most of the time in favor of walking to our destination. So many great restaurants, coffee, bars, small businesses within a stones throw from our front door. The building itself is really nice. Owners seemed to have really put some thought into all the common areas and there's tons of cool architectural details throughout making it feel like we live in nice hotel rather than a cookie cutter apartment building. The roof deck is lit and we can usually be found there around sunset enjoying a cocktail with great views of east Bakersfield and the Sierra mountains beyond. The apartment itself is very well appointed and well designed. Even all the lights are dimmable which is something I've never had in a rental. Kitchen has everything you'd expect in a modern apartment and the bathroom is huge! I've also noticed how quiet it is in the apartment verses other spots I've been in downtown so it must be constructed really well. I wfh so pretty important to have a nice, quiet living situation, and life at 918 has yet to disappoint! I'd defiantly recommend this building to anyone looking for something more unique and modern in Bakersfield.
