Avalon Huntington is only a short distance from Stratford, Bridgeport, and New Haven. These Shelton apartments feature gourmet kitchens with cherry cabinets and black appliances, a full size washer and dryer in every home and spacious walk-in closets. Community amenities include a relaxing resident lounge complete with its own TV, a fully equipped fitness center with a cardio theater, a sparkling outdoor swimming pool and beautifully landscaped picnic areas for a barbecue with family or friends.

Everybody has been great throughout the leasing process and all of my maintenance requests have been responded to in a timely manner. My girlfriend are very happy we chose to live in Huntington Townhomes.

We have lived here at Huntington townhomes for two years before having to move to another town. I would say Huntington is by far our favorite place. First the property and surroundings, the apartments are relatively new and in good shape. I believe they were built in 2008 and 2011. The location is a big advantage too. It's on the edge of the hub of Shelton, therefore convenient yet not so noisy. Two big grocery stores are a couple of blocks away. Department stores are in the same plaza next to the groceries. And numerous fantastic restaurants are around within walking distance or a few minutes drive. For people who have small kids like us, there are 3-4 high rated childcare providers within 5 min drive, and also big pediatric and dental healthcare organizations. Then the staff, the office team has always been friendly and helpful. I know the team has changed over the past two years but I personally never had any unpleasant experience with any of them. They organized different events during festivals. I would wish they could do more food truck events :-). They also send reminds to tenants on or before every rent due date while most of my previous landlords were more than willing to keep quiet and directly collect late fees. I have only called maintenance once in two years because most of my equipment and appliances worked perfectly fine. And the maintenance crew were very responsive and efficient. Finished the work order right away. Finally the amenities, I like the fitness room in particular. It has a high ceiling, big windows all around. The equipments are well maintained. I only wish they had a barbell setup for bench press and heavier free weights of >50 lbs but maybe that's a safety concern, idk. But overall it's great. I would highly recommend Huntington Townhomes.
