My partner, cat and I moved into The Hawthorne PDX about a month ago. Within a day or so of applying, we heard back! The application process was swift and easy - Kylie was incredibly helpful and responsive to all questions we had before moving in. There was a 6 week special that was offered for signing a lease (as well as a $99 security deposit) and all credits have been applied to our rent so far! The unit is incredibly nice -- this is our first time having in unit washer/dryer and a dishwasher (which we're very happy about)! For being a one bedroom (alcove), the unit is quite spacious. The location is great and we're within walking distance to many of our favorite restaurants! Considering the street this complex is on, it's surprisingly quiet at night! We feel very fortunate to have found a place during these times and we're very happy living here so far!

Strategically chose where out apartment was located inside the building as a result it is very quiet. It is an ideal location, management is responsive. For all of the features in the building, essentially brand new appliances; dishwasher, full sized stove, washer/dryer, microwave, and fridge the price point is fair. I was ready to pay the same price for a unit half the size, or more for outdated appliances with a little extra room in a subpar location. All of my neighbors are quiet and happy, and when they are loud it is because they are laughing. I can't complain.
