If you like a quiet place that you can go home and relax, don't move here. It is right next to a very loud intersection, a very loud apartment complex, and a construction zone where the college is building a new parking lot. The property management neglects the property so it looks pretty trashy constantly. People park in the parking lot for school, which leaves no parking for the people that live here. Parking lot here is a breeding ground for hit and run accidents. students park here, hit your car, and leave without leaving a note. This has happened to two of my neighbors and myself. The management has done nothing to improve this. The Management is also bad about towing people that don't belong, but I have seen worse. All of the amenities from the '50s. The apartment complex was built in 1958 just to give you an idea. The units are wildly out of date, which explains why they won't post any pictures of the insides online. The kitchen has a single electrical outlet next to the sink, which is now illegal but since Lindsay oaks is so old it was grandfathered in. The people that I met here are pretty nice, so there's that. Everybody that lives here hates the management.

I just moved to this apartment last week. It’s a small one bedroom apartment and perfect for students. Pros: The maintenance persons (Ben and Hunter) are super friendly and very responsible. I have to give a five star for their service. The rent is very much student friendly! It’s a bright place with a lot of daylight. Big closet. Enough space for pantry and also bookshelves. Very close to the school. Close to the small HEB and downtown. Within 2 minutes distance, there is a TxST shuttle stop. (Ingram shuttle stop) Cons: The carpet is super old and dirty. It’s almost black! 😷 Very old building. The floor sounds a lot. The insulation is not well enough. No patio. Gas stove. Washroom is very old and the fittings are not good enough. Rent-5/5 Service-5/5 Cleanliness-2/5 (because of the carpet) Update on July, 2022: The rent for the apartment was $665 and the deposit was $600. The management took the entire deposit money and on top of that, they charged extra money for cleaning the carpet, and installed all new stuff in the kitchen and restroom, when I talked with them several times to change those. Because its a 50 years old building and amenities are really bad. Whenever I told them to change the faucet or shower, they always denied. But now they change it all with my money. In rainy days, there were roaches and caterpillar everywhere in the apartment. I told them about it but they didn’t do anything for it. And now they raise the rent like crazy. Definitely not recommended.
