The living room sofa may serve as an additional sleeping area, however, it does not have a pull-out bed. Building amenities include a fitness center, yoga studio, private work stations, a conference room with printing, a game room and lounge, a shared outdoor pool (open Memorial Day to Labor Day), grilling stations, a community walking path, vending machines, a shared laundry room, Tide dry cleaning lockers, and Luxer package lockers. Reserved parking costs approximately $200 per month, and upon request, we can coordinate reserving a space for you. Metered street parking is available on Taylor St with 3-hour time limits. The apartment is within walking distance of UIC, Rush, cafes, grocery stores, parks, and countless restaurants and bars. It's a 5-minute walk to the L stop on Polk St. The pink line provides direct access to West Loop, The Loop, and Pilsen. It's also a 5-minute drive to West Loop and an 8-minute drive to The Loop. The apartment has central air, but the HVAC system is a two-pipe system which can only run heat or AC at any point in time. The system switches over to heat in the fall each year and switches to AC in the spring. No parties, gatherings, or commercial uses are allowed. There is a $150 fee for smoking. Quiet time is after 10 pm. There is a $75 charge per item for unreturned key or access device. Includes a dedicated workspace.
