We're looking for a 4th roommate for a large house on a corner lot - one block from Lincoln park, and 2 blocks from Eastern Market! Really close to bike share, metro stop and bus lines. The room: There are no pics yet because it's currently being remodeled (the landlord is putting in a closet and refinishing the bathroom), but it's a moderately-sized room with high ceilings, plenty of light, a fireplace (filled in) and hardwood floors. It also has a private bathroom! Rent is $750 - including utilities. That's an amazing deal for this neighborhood. The roommates: Three girls in our mid-twenties. Two are high school teachers and one is a staffer on the Hill. We're all friends and love happy hours, going out on weekends and the occasional party - but like to keep it pretty quiet on week nights. We cook together, play music (there's a piano in the house), and bike everywhere. The house: The house is huge and on a corner lot with lots of open living space. It has hardwood floors, several fire places, plenty of light and is furnished. It also has a big yard that needs some work and a patio- perfect for cook-outs! You: We're looking for a 4th roommate (preferably a guy) who can lift heavy things, open jars and can get to hard-to-reach shelves in the kitchen :) But seriously- we'd like a roommate that is responsible, clean, social and a nice person. We're willing to consider pets if you have them. Lease starts March 1 and is month to month, but move in date is flexible.
