About the Apt Newly renovated top floor apt in a 3 family historic Brownstone. The apartment is a 2 bed/1 bath with bonus dining room or office, 7 x 10 walk in closet, very large bathroom, central heat, sunlight all day with 3 exposures and 9.5 ft ceilings. Everything is new in the apt, including electric, plumbing, walls, freshly painted, cabinets, appliances, flooring, etc. About the Residents I am the owner, in my 30s, and live in the first floor with a roommate. The building has been in my family for 60 years, and I have recenty taken possession and have been renovating for the past couple years. I am deeply involved in the building and take great pride in the work that I do, and personally ensure that my tenants are happy, safe, and at ease in their home. I am MBA educated, and my roommate is an attorney for an investment bank. The second floor tenant is a mother, in her 50s, and daughter in her 30s. The mother works as a legal secretary and the daughter works for an investment bank. I also have a ground floor tenant in her mid 20s who works for a nonprofit. We are very laid back, friendly, and place a high value on an overall peaceful and respectful environment. About the Nabe Mott Haven is the southern most portion of the Bronx. We are approx 4 blocks from the 2/5 express trains, 4 blocks from the 6 local train, and about 25 mins to 14th st. The area is has a number of amenities within walking distance, including laundromats, dry cleaners, supermarkets, pharmacies, and some pretty good restaurants. We have 2 new dog runs within a 15 minute walk, as well as a major park (St. Mary's) with a jogging track, indoor year round lap pool, gym, tennis courts, and playground. Mainstream shopping can be found a short trip away at the Gateway Center, including Target, BJs, Best Buy, Home Depot, etc.
