Not to say that this place hasn't received more than its fair share of modernizing love. Inside, hardwoods run throughout, catching the light through the large front windows. Over there, opposite the fireplace, the hangout-worthy galley-style kitchen comes with high-end appliances, an epic backsplash, loads of storage, and way more than enough counter space to cook and entertain simultaneously. Check out the giant walk-in pantry to confirm that this is, after all, a legit chef's kitchen. Down the hall, a pair of bedrooms. An art studio separate from the rest of the home, with loads of room to spread out? There it is. Or, maybe, loads of storage for your "stuff." And it's that inimitable City of Decatur location. More specifically, central to *everything*: Decatur Square is about 5 minutes by bike; just a short surface commute to the north are Emory, CDC, and the other big employers. You'd never know.
