The house is a 5mn walk to Tenleytown station, where you can hop on the Red Line or one of the many buses (H2, H4, 96, 37, 30N, 30S, N2, M4, X3) that head to places like Georgetown, Adams Morgan, Dupont Circle, Columbia Heights, etc. Also walkable distance: Whole Foods, many (many!) restaurants, fast food joints like Chipotle, Burger Tap & Shake, the soon-to-open Chick'Fil'A.
