AVAILABLE MAY-DEC, 2026 - 7 MONTH LEASE ONLY: A 2-minute walk to East Beach, this 1BR apartment sleeps four. Separate apartment in a cute beach bungalow (not a high rise apartment complex), it is set up with everything you need for an extended stay. Completely remodeled, highlights include a private patio, hardwood floors, recessed lighting and a living room with sliding privacy doors and a top-of-line queen sleeper. Dining room has an office desk and linen cabinet. Location, location, location. A relaxed haven for a coastal getaway, this cottage is just a two-minute stroll to East Beach or to Tri County Produce (all your food and wine needs). Stearns wharf, State Street, Funk Zone and the Harbor are just a mile down the beach. The bird sanctuary and zoo are a few blocks in the other direction. LIVING ROOM Features Danish Modern furniture with an American Leather sleeper sofa (queen Tempur Pedic mattress) and an American Leather recliner. Entertainment options include a Bose Wave radio/CD and a 56” Roku TV. Glass sliding doors and a remote-controlled ceiling fan create a comfortable, private second bedroom. DINING ROOM Features clever Danish Modern folding desk with its own lighting and plug-ins (including printer). Table has leaf but will accommodate four as is. Cabinet contains extra linens. KITCHEN Contemporary and well-equipped – owners have cooked 100’s of meals here and are providing all of the little things. If we have ever needed it, it’s here. A complete set of stainless steel appliances includes a clean-top range, new refrigerator with filtered water dispenser, Bunn coffeemaker w/grinder etc. etc. BEDROOM & BATH The contemporary bedroom boasts a top-end medium firm bed a remote-controlled ceiling fan and the same flat-screen TV as Living Room (2 TVs, 1 Learning Curve). Bathroom has all high-end Kohler fixtures- lovely basket-weave tiles and tub/shower. A ceiling heater fan takes out any chill in the morning. ADDITIONAL DETAILS Amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi and a reserved parking space for one vehicle in garage behind the cottage. There is also street parking, but it can be scarce on warm weekend days as all of Santa Barbara flocks to East Beach. This unit is not equipped with air-conditioning, but has a modern forced-air furnace. The shared laundry room attached to the cottage is available for guest use. There is a paved back alleyway with gates that lock at each end – guests can stow bikes and beach stuff there.
