We operated this house as a short term rental since 2021 but are opening it up for a renter on a longer term lease due to the changing guidelines in Kane County around short term rentals. The house is currently furnished and we are open to keeping the furniture in place or allowing a renter to bring their own. $2,650/month plus the tenant handles all utilities and lawncare. Note: the house does not have a washer and dryer. It has hookups for a 120v electric washer dryer combo. The property has direct access to 185 feet of riverfront shoreline in a peaceful South Elgin neighborhood. The backyard offers a front row seat to watch the river as it takes its brief northwest detour before turning southbound again toward St. Charles. The house is about a 5 mile drive to the charming streets of downtown St. Charles to the south, and Elgin is 5 miles to the north. There is plenty of bike trail nearby, leading to the 8 foot high Blackhawk waterfall a half mile away. Tenant is responsible for all utilities and lawn care.
