CALL/TEXT/EMAIL SEAN @ 929-399-5254 NOW!!! LET A BROOKLYN NATIVE FIND YOU A HOME IN BROOKLYN!!! CALL/TEXT/EMAIL SEAN @ 929-399-5254 NOW!!! The apartment is the first floor (garden level) of a two family brownstone, with private access to the backyard. Built in 1899, we are just at the end of an extensive renovation to the entire building, upgrading the structure, electric, plumbing, you name it. The walls in the apartment are newly painted, the stainless appliances and bathroom amenities are all just out of the box . You will be the first to use all of it! The apartment is just over 900 square feet, a private garden entrance hallway leads to a nice sized living room with a giant 20x15 bedroom in the front with two large windows. To the back of the living room is a very large open floor-plan kitchen, and a full-size second bedroom on the other side with an exposed brick wall and column inside. Super unique design as it spans what was once the outside wall of the building - now inside the bedroom. The front bedroom has an original marble fireplace accent. Looks great, but not functional :) I've rented a lot in Brooklyn and have lived in a garden apartment and know the issue with these brownstone spaces is that they can be very dark as there are often small windows only in the front and back of the units. That is not the case here! Specifically to remedy that, we opened up the back walls of the unit and put in large new windows and a windowed back garden door which allow light to flood into the kitchen and back bedroom from the garden patio. A glass french door on the front bedroom allows that light to flow all the way through the entire apartment. The result is honestly the lightest garden apartment I have seen. The newly constructed bathroom comes with a large shower, white subway tile throughout, and a very quiet vent fan overhead. The kItchen has a new 30 inch range complete with oven, venting microwave above, large bottom-freezer fridge unit, commercial style hose faucet, and dishwasher. The private backyard is just over 800 square feet, and has an enclosed porch structure in it (with electricity) of about 400 square feet. We call it the dojo, just feels right. It really has to be seen, its very unique. Behind that, there is another 200 square feet of area to grow, plant, or use as you'd like. That area is also home to your very own peach tree - it just gave us about 150 delicious peaches and should do the same next year. Peach cobbler all around! As construction is just finishing this week, the photos are a little lame (I say this as a photographer who wanted to make them...not lame) But its tough with construction crews finishing up in there as of right now. That said, I imagine there will likely be less people seeing the apartment this weekend than there may be next weekend after the really nice photos go up - so for anyone willing to take a little leap here - theres a shot to get in early and claim it! If we find the right people this weekend, we likely wont show it next weekend. We are fine with pets (maybe not a saint Bernard, a cow, or a horse - but most things smaller than that). The entire building is no smoking - including the backyard. There isn't laundry in the building yet - but we plan to install machines in the basement sometime in the next few months. Heat and hot water are included. Electricity is on a shared panel so will be billed monthly (we will figure out something that makes sense for everyone based o..
