Oh, hi! Would you like to live in a super nice apartment? You would? That's great! I happen to be moving, and I need someone to take over my lease. Here's the details....*clears throat* Ten things you need to know about your new super awesome living-quarters. 1. The lease ends on May 31, 2013. At that time, you're more than welcome to stay. Probably. I mean, I'm not the Times Ventures Corporation, but just don't do illegal things, and probably pay your rent on time, and you're most likely good. 2. Since I've conveeeniently already paid the security deposit, you would not have to. As an added bonus, you have the opportunity to get the security deposit back at the end of the lease, provided you don't do $500 worth of damage. Inherently, please avoid painting murals on the walls, housing messy friends/family members in the spacious walk-in closet, or penguin breeding in the bathtub. I'm pretty sure the last one is illegal anyway. 3. The apartment is spacious - 575 square feet, folks. I put things in the kitchen cupboards that have no earthly business being there - just because I can. I have that much room. If I wanted to, I could fit a couple ponies in my kitchen.* 4. Heat, trash, and water is included in the price of the rent. Recycling is available as well. 5. There is a laundry facility downstairs. I've never once had to wait to do laundry. It's almost as if I'm the only one who does laundry there. The machines always work, too. Heck, I'll even throw in the rest of my fabric softener as a welcome gift. 6. There is additional storage downstairs as well. You can obtain this additional storage for the low cost of free. If you REALLY have a lot of things, you can rent a garage for $80 a month. You can also put your car in there, if it strikes your fancy. I'm a frugal, modest lady who lives within her means, consequently, if you want a garage, you'll have to pay extra. 7. The apartment is hooked up for cable and the interwebs. That's right! Just hook up your magic interwebs/cable boxes to the walls, and BANG. Entertainment. G*d bless America. 8. The building has controlled entrances. Not that you'd need them... it's quiet in this place. The neighbors (who can affectionately be referred to as 'the neibs') are friendly. One of them actually helped me move in. I didn't have to do anything! Now that's service. 9. The land lady and the maintenance guy - they're good people. Very friendly. Also, very accessible. 10. There's plenty of parking, all the time. No down town St. Paul troubles here, you guys. Your friends can even park in the parking lot, or on the cul de sac. Sometimes I wish I had more cars, because I'd like to park them in all the available spots and not pay fees or parking tickets. You know, really stick it to the man. Pictures are to follow. Please feel free to email me for a showing. If you do decide to that you want the opportunity to live at this place of wonders, there is a $35 application fee (because you're not subletting from me, you'd actually take over the lease). As noted before, I've covered the security deposit. You're welcome. If you like desks and couches (who doesn't, right?) and you need one or both, you can have mine. If you don't want 'em, I'll take 'em with! I'm flexible. Just trying to make sure everyone has something to sit/write on. It's our right as tax paying Americans. You can also call/text me. I will - I repeat - I WILL know if you've sold my number to third party vendors. I ..
