1 bedroom available in a 2 bedroom/ 1 bathroom apartment in the Grove street neighborhood of Jersey city that will be move-in ready on September 1st. THE ROOM: The bedroom has an exposed brick wall, a large window, a full closet, hardwood floors and enough space for a twin/full bed, desk and dresser. THE APARTMENT: The apartment is on the second story of a brownstone with only 4 units in the entire building, and the neighbors are quiet and respectful. The actual apartment has an incredibly open floor plan with the kitchen overlooking the living room. The apartment comes furnished, has bamboo wooden floors, large sunny windows and exposed brick walls. The one bathroom is a good size and includes a bathtub/shower, toilet, sink, medicine cabinet and washer/dryer. The kitchen provides great counter space and the cabinets lining the walls give ample storage space. Stainless steel appliances include Bosch refrigerator/ freezer, oven, gas stove, microwave and dishwasher. I am looking for someone (preferably working, female in 20-30's) who is clean, considerate and easy going. The rent is $1,250 a month (not including utilities and high speed internet/cable/HBO which average around $80 a month). In addition, you will have to pay one month's security deposit and provide references/credit check if requested by landlord. The lease is for one year.
