The property is located just minutes from Pantops, and offers convenience to Darden Towe Park and the Rivanna River Trail, the 250 bypass and I-64, downtown, and UVA Medical Center. The Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport, UVA's North Fork, and NGIC are also less than 11 miles away. The 1,500 sqft cottage features 1900's character and charm, original hardwood floors, a full-size washer and dryer, a big yard, plus pastoral and partial Blue Ridge Mountain views. The space includes a living room with a decorative fireplace, a kitchen with wooden cabinets and white/black appliances, a dining room, a master bedroom with an attached full bath and a large adjoining walk-in closet/laundry room which some have used as a home office option, plus two additional bedrooms which share a hall bath. The home also includes an unfinished attic and basement. Rent includes: well and septic, lawn care, snow removal, and trash pickup. PLEASE NOTE: This cottage is set amongst a large fenced-in parcel of land that is rented out separately for cattle. There is no central ac. A few ac window units were left behind from a previous tenant and are available for use. The home has oil heating. There is also a portable dishwasher that was left behind from a previous tenant (and shown in the photos). If the window ac units or dishwasher should break (or cause damage), Braden Property is not responsible for fixing or replacing them. This property is within the following school district: * Stony Point Elementary * Burley Middle * Monticello High No smoking at the property. Up to two pets (totaling a max of 50lbs, combined) are allowed with a non-refundable $250 pet fee (per pet) plus a monthly $25 pet rent (per pet). Some breed restrictions apply.
