As there are lots of cool places to live in the Lower East Side, we think this is definitely one of them. Just to the right of Clinton Street Baking Co., these new-to-the-market residences at 16 Clinton bring an elegant touch to a fabulous, yet traditional, layout. This classic circa 1900 five story structure is 44 feet in length, 25 feet wide and brand new to the market. A walk-up building with four floors of floor-thru apartments tucked neatly into one of the most colorful of all neighborhoods in New York City. These apartments are stunning. Renovated from top to bottom, from the floors to the drywall to the bathroom, a unique touch has been applied to this classic layout. There is an oversized windowed kitchen with beveled subway tiles, new appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave to go along with a four burner range and oven and a great row of brilliant white cabinetry. Each apartment incorporates a winged two bedroom layout with generously sized bedrooms and closets to have more than just a queen size bed. Over 135 square feet for each bedroom. If this is just for you, then you are going to love the flow of this layout. End to end of "all yours." Very nice ceiling height. A windowed bathroom stands out with a selection of tile that has the soothing tones of slate, with a tinge of brown. A large shower stall sits between the raised pedestal sink and low flush toilet. Free Utilities: Heat and Hot Water are provided with classic radiators throughout providing ample heat to relax comfortably knowing that the heat bill is covered. Though traditional in layout with it's classic railroad schematic in place, the unbounded opportunities that await you at the front door are the reason why you want to live here. From catching a Wormburner show at Mercury Lounge and then some burlesque at Nurse Betty for those that are into rock theater, to the coming of an international wave of upscale eateries, the Lower East Side is becoming a destination for a more gourmand approach to what New York is about. Do it right, do it big, and make it great the first time. From the newly minted staple Mission Chinese to one of our personal favorites, Schiller's Liquor Bar, what's coming in the next year is sure to grab headlines just the same. If you've been to Essex Street Market, then you know it is one of the city's last, best kept secrets..when all of the timing gods align just right, it's almost perfect New York. For the fashion-head, the Lower East Side offers the best in whatever is trending now, is trending now. Upfront and contemporary designs that are inspired as far as the other side of the world, to our locals in the fashion industries intermixing alongside the streets and history that lay underneath each step that you walk upon in the Lower East Side. Anywhere you go will take you near and wide from men's future classic clothing stores that dot Rivington Street to the intrinsic jewelry and eyewear stores on Orchard Street; every street seems to be more unique than the last one. Or, just cross Houston and get your Alphabet City on. Afterwards, if you have time, there is the rest of Manhattan to see and do.
