We are looking for someone to take over our lease, which expires on September 25, 2017. This is a great deal as the same apartment layout from the building (Crystal Square) are going for $2500+. The apartment will be available for move in on November 12 The apartment is on the 16th floor and has a very nice view. The den in the apartment has two doors, a closet, and a window so it can effectively serve as a second bedroom. There is a ton of storage/closet space in the unit, with 3 walk-in closets. The building itself has friendly 24 hour concierge staff that accept packages for you, and maintenance staff who are very polite and responsive. The building amenities include a 24 hour-gym, a game room with a pool table, and rooftop lounge area on the 17th floor. Hello, we are looking for one additional person to share a massive 3-bedroom apartment in Crystal City; One us just moved in and the other will be arriving in August. The room is available any time you want to move in. This is a newly renovated 9th floor highrise, with direct elevator access to the metro and all the other typical amenities. The apartment has an attached balcony, upgraded kitchen and bathroom, and a washer/dryer in the unit. We have enough furnishings to completely outfit the common areas, so it's okay if you don't have a lot of stuff (we have couches, leather recliner, 60" TV, cantina, dining room table, dishes, cookware, etc), or we can collaborate and figure out who wants to bring what. There are two good-sized bedrooms, a 12x15 and a 16x12. These would rent for $1045 and $1071 respectively (based on square footage). I will be in the master bedroom and paying extra for the larger room. The complex is Crystal Square Apartments. A few of the community amenities include: New rooftop gym New gaming and billiards room Swimming pool with large sundeck Rooftop terrace 24-hour concierge Controlled access community Complimentary Starbucks®coffee bar On-site covered parking garage ($150/mo) / About us: I am a male but have no preference as to gender; I have lived with both men and women in the past. I am a social person and it would be nice to hang out with my roommate from time to time, but it's not imperative. I am very respectful of others' space and keep my room and common areas neat and clean; my ideal match would do the same. No pets, drugs, or drama please :) I'm 30 years old, spent the last 18 months overseas and now coming back to DC to resume my consulting job. Originally from PA and have lived in FL and GA. I will travel about 50% of weekends. When I am around I like to explore the area, do happy hours, social sports, etc. I also like to cook and would have an occasional dinner party (crab legs are my specialty) or out-of-town guest. If you think we might be a good match, give me a shout -- I am happy to answer any questions. Thanks! ~Aaron I'm 26 and moving to NoVA to work for the EPA. I'm originally from New England and I have lived with just about every race, gender, creed, and orientation - so I'm open to living with anyone. I'm a big fan of reading and outdoors activities like mountain-biking, rock-climbing, and hiking. I'm not a huge party-goer, but I'm definitely up for hitting occasional happy hours. I'm happy to answer any additional questions. - Joe
