Quick 12 mile commute to downtown Hilo and bay with safe, sandy swimming beaches. Quaint town of Pahoa is 7 miles south and Volcano National Park is 25 miles away. Around 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic to downtown Hilo and University of Hawaii and area hospitals.. This is a 2 story house with host occupying the 1st floor. There is 1 person downstairs so the house is fairly quiet. Common entry from 1st floor. Your private rental space is the entire upper floor which includes living room, full kitchen, bath and 2 spacious bedrooms. Large patio fronting living room. Sliding patio doors in bedrooms open to back deck. Furnished with fridge, gas range / oven, microwave, small kitchen appliances, dishes, utensils, cookware, smart TV, linens, extra pillows, blankets, kitchen & bathroom starter supplies. Utilities included: electricity (within limits), gas, catchment water, wifi internet, yard service and garbage collection. Limited AC available at additional cost depending upon electricity usage. Furniture in photos included. Share tropical fruits when in season. There are no pets or animals on the property but neighboring homes have pets, dogs, and other farm animals as this is a rural area. House water supply is through rainwater catchment, filtered to remove impurities and UV light disinfected. Additionally there is free municipal water nearby or or you may purchase commercially purified water. Please inquire with a short bio of yourself, desired move in date and approximate length of stay. After an initial phone interview, a showing can be scheduled. No smoking / vaping, drug use and no pets or animals of any kind. Overnight visitors / guests not permitted however exceptions may be considered and will be subject to additional rent on a per day or per week basis.
