About 1408 N Wakefield St
We are looking for a third roommate to share the 3 bedroom, 2 bath home that we are currently renting in Arlington, Virginia. The room for rent is located on the second of two stories in this quaint, well-kept home. The room itself is quite spacious and contains a built-in closet and large windows. The full bathroom upstairs is shared with one other roommate across the hall. We have a washer and dryer in our full (unfurnished) basement as well as central AC and heating in all of the rooms. The bedrooms also have ceiling fans. The home itself is located in a quiet, safe, family-oriented neighborhood on a cul de sac, approximately 15 minutes walking distance from the Ballston metro. There is a great running trail (Custis) at the end of our street. Our landlord is very responsive to our requests and has consistently updated the house over the years with new appliances. The main level of the house contains one occupied room and full bath, as well as our kitchen, sun room, dining room, and living area. Most of these rooms are furnished, but we have plenty of space for new additions! There is also ample storage space in the basement. We have a long driveway alongside the house, and street parking in front of the house is always readily available. There is also a small yard with a hammock and some outdoor seating. Sorry, no pets. A little about us: We are both female, in our 20s, and work full time. We are looking for someone fun, friendly, and considerate. We like to keep our home relatively quiet and peaceful during the work week, as we both leave early in the morning, but we're always open to having friends over on the weekends. Utilities are not included in the monthly rent. All utility bills will be divided evenly between the three of us (cable, electric, gas, water/sewage/trash) and average $100/ month (more during summer/winter and less in between). The lease is for a year (July 2015 - July 2016). Please contact us if interested and tell us a bit about yourself (work schedule, interests, roommate expectations, etc.).
