It is located in the Lakeside Park Addition of Fort Wayne, just Northeast of Downtown, one block away from Lakeside Park, near the Rivergreenway trail, and close to neighborhood shops. The Lakeside Park Addition is a historic neighborhood built between 1890-1920, with character and charm. It was developed as Fort Wayne’s first “streetcar suburb” right across the river from downtown and is still one of the city’s most beloved neighborhoods. This house is the owner’s personal home and has been well maintained and updated over the past several years. It will be professionally managed for the duration of the lease. This is a pet-free and smoke-free home and will remain so. There is one bedroom with a queen bed, plus an additional room for use as an office or study that comes equipped with a printer and a desk. The main living area has a sofa and a small dining table. Television will be provided. The kitchen is open to the living room and has refrigerator, range, microwave, and dishwasher. It is well equipped for cooking and eating meals at home. Refinished wood floors run throughout this space. This is a versatile room that can be used as a mudroom, a dining area, more living space, etc. The bathroom has an updated vanity with storage underneath, a newly refinished bathtub, updated fixtures, and plenty of wall hardware for hanging towels and washcloths. There is a set of full-sized washer and dryer appliances in the basement for your use as well. All of the windows are updated energy-efficient models to keep you comfortable all year. All the doors are new and very secure. There are ceiling fans throughout the home. Heat is gas-forced air furnace and there will be air conditioning in the summer. There is room in the rear of the home for off-street parking for one car. The yard is very large and a great place to enjoy summer evenings or host a cookout. There is a gas grill, outdoor seating, and a small firepit. You can’t beat the location here. This is a quiet neighborhood street with fantastic nearby neighbors. Centrally located in the city, you’re not more than 15 minutes drive from anywhere in Fort Wayne. You could easily walk or bike into downtown to enjoy a diversity of dining options, summer festivals, arts and culture, and entertainment. The neighborhood is only a few minutes drive from Purdue Fort Wayne, Ivy Tech, Parkview Randallia, etc. We are specifically seeking a tenant to lease this space from mid-May through April of 2019, with a possibility to extend the lease through June of 2019. Tenants will be screened on the basis of income, credit, and background. $700 security deposit. Owner pays all utilities. Internet and lawncare are provided. Tenant may subscribe to cable service if they desire. No pets or smoking permitted. Showings of the property will be limited to pre-approved applicants because the owners are still occupying this home until it is leased in May. There may be minor décor changes or removal of personal items not reflected in the photos. No Pets Allowed
