I am looking for a roommate for my apartment. The entire apartment itself is 2 bedroom, 2 bath, a living room, and a kitchen, which means that you will have your own bedroom and bathroom. YOUR Rent is $725 a month. The rent in total is $1500. Your half of the utilities is about $45. (Internet, power, gas) The location is very close to UCLA (about a mile and a half away). That is a 40 minute walk, a 20 minute bike ride, or a 10 minute car/bus ride. A little about myself: I'm entering my 4th year at UCLA and I'm an English major. I'm a Los Angeles local having grown up in Los Feliz (if you've ever been there my family owns Ye Rustic Inn bar.) I enjoy just about anything to do with entertainment. As far as movies I like anything from Woody Allen to Kubrick. As far as books I like a lot of the modern classics like Hemingway and Fitzgerald. With music, I like the Doors, Arcade Fire, and Beck. Features of the apartment include: heating/ac washer & dryer located within the apartment complex balcony (I don't smoke, but it's fine if you do) fireplace high ceilings full kitchen (dishwasher included) living room Street parking is always very easy here plenty of space for furniture if necessary within walking distance of banks, grocery stores, restaurants, bus routes, and UCLA. The bedroom is not furnished, no mattress etc. The apartment is available immediately. The landlord requests that you sign a year-long lease, but he says that you can leave anytime you like, granted that you give him 30 days notice. I'm looking for anyone easy going and hassle free.
