It is a very safe neighborhood half a block from Sayville beach park and a block from town -ferries- bus- train-laundry all within a mile. We love all animals as long as they are well behaved (ok we love the naughty ones too lol). WiFi Netflix Hulu prime included. Utilities included. Garbage pick up and street parking out front. We allow you to have an A/C in Summer if you prefer. LGBTQ friendly. I am older but work 7 days. I do back checks and references. You have a key and lock and lots of privacy but no private entrance as we use the front door. This bedroom is upstairs. Lots of windows and light. Call to see by appointment and find out more. One large bedroom with attached large “library” room with closet tons of shelves and I allow a small fridge and air fryer or microwave. There is a built in desk lots of storage shelves and room for a small living room area or dining area as well so big space tons of windows and light - we live downstairs this is second floor. This is in 1890s Victorian being repaired and restored in South Sayville one block to water and ferries ,a half block to park beach, 2 from town shopping. We are peaceful and LGBTQ friendly and we run a local animal kennel for 51 years. We love animals and even a bigger dog if situation would work out would be considered but absolutely small pets allowed. My daughter and I live downstairs which is the part of the house being worked on as well as the large property needing work but gorgeous! There are rescue cats two that are over twenty now and they sleep on the porch but never want to come in and then we have two rescue cats that do come in but stay mostly downstairs in a room with a now and again romp through the attic lol. We are older and work long days at the kennel and want our home to be peaceful as it should be all of our sanctuaries. We have a ring cam for insurance that your packages are delivered and such. Plenty of parking and legal street parking here we figure it out😊 there is my granddaughter and partner live on property but we rarely see them but they have two rescued dogs and three rescued cats and the dogs go with them everywhere or to my kennel for day care as well and they live in a cottage. We hope to restore the yard and in ground pool in the next year for next season 🙏 if the universe allows and to also make another lane in the front driveway for more parking off street. We use the downstairs bathroom and we are living downstairs as my daughter needs hip surgery and the downstairs was mid rebuild when my husband passed but the plan is that the bath downstairs is being made into a full bath so we grab a shower in the upstairs one now and then when we don’t shower at our work. You will barely know we did as we keep our toiletries downstairs and usually shower it’s a share bath but mostly you will feel like it’s your bathroom for the most part & the goal is it will be after ours is done. It’s extremely clean and was restored into a “subway” style Victorian bathroom. The shower and tub are big and we are finishing up some things now new toilet seat and curtains and such. You will have only one entrance not private but upstairs you have two entrances to the rooms one by bathroom and one to the room in pictures with rug- you will have keys and be able to lock doors. Come see if your a fit! We in protecting ourselves after bad experiences will appreciate honesty and take first, last, and security. The $1500 includes all utilities WiFi as well as Hulu, Netflix, Amazon etc. why should ppl get their own if we have it and can just share passwords. We have Verizon so the internet is great. No bad vibes. This house has great vibes and so much rich history. We are looking for someone stable and long term please if it’s just month to month we are not interested. NY has changed all its laws and we must ensure our safety because we have been badly hurt from people who took advantage as they saw us losing two family members and our business shut for two years during Covid and it was not from necessity it was just to be awful so we are being cautious and will ask questions. You must have character references ..
