This March, San Diego remained the 11th most expensive rental market in the country, with median 1-bedroom rents rising 3.5% in the trailing quarter to $1,480. Rents for 2-bedrooms were similarly up 5.6%, to a median of $1,900. The city’s prices came ahead of Philadelphia ($1,350), Minneapolis ($1,320), and Portland ($1,300).
San Diego March MapLooking closer at a neighborhood level, the most expensive areas included Coronado ($2,500), La Petite Italie($2,150), East Village ($1,950), et Cortez ($1,920). Cheaper areas fell mostly to the east, with prices inEnchanté ($815), Colina Del Sol ($865), and Oak Park ($915) clocking in as the most affordable.
