The Zumper Minneapolis Metro Report analyzed active listings in May across 13 metro cities to calculate median rent and to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents.

–Apple Valley, Minnesota climbed one spot this month and became the most expensive city to rent in the metro. One bedroom units were priced at a median of $1,270.
–Édina & Woodbury, MN were tied for second with rent at $1,250.
–Minneapolis, Minnesota fell 2 spots and became the third priciest city with rent at $1,220.
