A comfortable Burlington home base with space to make your own. Single occupancy other than the owner. I'm opening my spacious, fully furnished North Burlington home to one professional housemate looking for a stable, longer-term place to call home. My preference is another professional woman, although I'm open to the right male housemate where there's a great fit. This is much more than a bedroom. You'll have a **choice of two private bedrooms**, plus a **furnished den primarily for your use**, along with the shared enjoyment of a comfortable, established 4-bedroom home. **Your space and amenities include:** • Choice of two private bedrooms — one fully furnished, or a second room offering more flexibility if you'd prefer to bring some of your own furniture and make the space your own • Furnished den primarily for your use, with flexibility to adapt it to your needs • Spacious kitchen and dining area • Comfortable shared living room • 1.5 bathrooms • Laundry • Driveway parking • Backyard and outdoor space • High-speed internet • Generous utility allowance • Elliptical available for use I split my time seasonally, so the arrangement can also offer periods of additional privacy throughout the year. **Who might feel at home here?** This could be a great fit for someone beginning work in Burlington/Halton, relocating to the area, changing their living situation, downsizing, or simply looking for a comfortable and established home base. I'm ideally looking for a mature professional who is **employed primarily outside the home**, financially stable, clean, considerate and independent. I work from home much of the time when I'm here, so someone who generally heads out to work during the day would likely create the best balance. Some hybrid work is certainly understandable. I enjoy friendly conversation and getting to know the person I share my home with, while also being very independent. The best fit will likely be someone who has their own routines and appreciates both connection and personal space. This is intended to remain primarily a home for the two of us, so someone who enjoys a peaceful home rather than a busy social household would be the best match. I'm looking for someone who can make this their home **at least through June 2027**, with a longer-term arrangement preferred. Single occupancy. One well-behaved pet may be considered for the right person. **Rent: $1,600/month**, including high-speed internet and a generous utility allowance. North Burlington, near Upper Middle & Guelph Line, convenient to shopping, parks, trails and highways. If this sounds like somewhere you could see yourself living, please tell me a little about yourself, what you do for work, what brings you to Burlington, your typical week, preferred move-in date and what you're hoping to find in a home share. From there, we can have a conversation and see if it feels like a good fit for both of us. 😊 This space can be available for October 1 but have some flexibility for the right match.
