Overlooking the alley above Carrigan’s, this is the perfect home base for exploring Birmingham’s food, nightlife, and cultural scenes. This design-forward retreat features tall windows, a full kitchen, and a dining table. The fully stocked kitchen includes chef’s knives, cookware, assorted spices, small-batch teas, and reusable paper towels, plus French press, Chemex, burr grinder, and locally roasted beans. For entertainment, there is a smart TV and a Bluetooth record player with a curated vinyl collection of female artists. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and is stocked with lotion, micellar water, makeup remover, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. An in-unit washer and dryer are available for your convenience. Paid street and nearby lots are available within a couple blocks. Stay in the center of Birmingham’s 2nd & 3rd Avenue district, known for its food, music, and arts scene. Carrigan’s is located downstairs via elevator. You’re surrounded by Birmingham’s top restaurants, all just a few blocks away: Helen, Bayonet, The Essential, El Barrio, Cafe Dupont, Paramount, Trattoria Centrale, Salud, Reve, and Pizitz Food Hall. Cala Coffee and Frothy Monkey are also just a few blocks away. For live music and events, walk to the Alabama Theatre and The Lyric, or take a short ride to The Nick, Boutwell Auditorium, BJCC, and Uptown. UAB Main Campus is less than a mile away, and St. Vincent’s Hospital is about 2 miles. Rear-facing windows overlook the alley above Carrigan’s, so expect some mild nightlife sound on weekends. Blackout curtains, eyeshades, and earplugs are provided for light sleepers. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 9 AM. Smoking, pets, and parties are not permitted. A $200 remediation fee will apply if evidence of indoor smoking is found. A $300 unauthorized pet fee per animal will apply if a pet or animal is brought onto the property. If you bring unreported overnight guests, host a gathering, or exceed maximum occupancy without prior written approval, additional guest fees (up to 2× the applicable additional guest rate) may be charged, and/or the reservation may be terminated and all guests required to leave without refund.
