Each bedroom features a queen bed, and the living room includes a queen pull-out sofa bed, ensuring a comfortable stay for all guests. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, cookware, silverware, basic condiments, and coffee/tea, while the dining table is set for 4 but can extend to accommodate up to 6 guests. Enjoy high-quality bedding and linens, an onsite washer and dryer with detergent provided, and access to popular streaming TV services. Firewood is supplied for the wood-burning stove, and an outdoor dining set is available seasonally, with extra chairs upon request. The regular nightly rate covers 4 guests, with additional guest fees of $25 per person per night, up to a maximum of 6 guests. Well-trained pets are welcome with a fee of $50 per pet per night. Exploring Whidbey Island is best done by car. Guests will have access to the entire property, including a fenced-in backyard, patios, and forested paths. The nature reserve is kept wild, so precautions should be taken, especially with pets and children. The property is close to the Outlying Landing Field on Whidbey Island, so there will be noise from jets flying by. Cell service is spotty, but enabling Wi-Fi calling and texting will help. This is a pet-friendly home, but pets should not be allowed on furniture or linens and should not be left unattended. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am, and there is a strict no-smoking or vaping policy, with a $500 fine per violation.
