Enjoy a stay at this newly built Black Bear Lodge. Feel at home in this gorgeous cabin that is great for family and friend vacations. This is a 4th-story home with a loft. The cabin features an open-concept kitchen, living, and dining area, a fully stocked kitchen with bar seating, a cozy living, dining, and porch area, two indoor fireplaces, smart TVs, and Wi-Fi. You’ll find the kitchen to be fully stocked with appliances including a refrigerator, oven and stove, microwave, coffee maker, and island counter seating. A starter supply of all paper goods and household necessities is provided, including bath tissue, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, shower gel, laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioner, body soap, clothing storage, and a hair dryer. Pets are welcome with a fee of $150 for up to 2 pets. Driveway parking is available. Nearby hiking trails include Gabes Mountain Trail to Hen Wallow Falls, Mouse Creek Falls via Big Creek Trail, Maddron Bald Trail to Albright Grove Loop, Big Creek Trail, Lower Mount Cammerer Trail, and Snake Den Ridge Trail. The Greenbrier restaurant is a 23-minute drive (14.6 miles) away. All guests must be 18 with the exception of children with their parents. There are no refunds for weather, natural disasters, power outages, or other things that are outside of our control; please purchase travel insurance for coverage. Please do not leave trash or food outside the cabin, as wildlife may rummage through it; a custom-built, locked bear-proof box is provided for all trash. Please keep pets off all furniture, including beds, sofas, and chairs, so we can maintain a clean and comfortable space for all guests; any pet hair, dander, or damage found on linens or furniture may result in additional cleaning or replacement fees. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM; early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability with fees applying and varying depending on the requested time, with a starting fee of $60. Guests will provide their own toiletries after depleting the starter supply of these items. We can host a maximum of 6 guests (including all adults, children & infants). Any noise complaints or law enforcement calls to the home will result in immediate termination of your stay without a refund.
