WELCOME TO CASA DE LUZ!! Welcome to your 1-bedroom/studio apartment in sunny downtown Chula Vista, an extremely walkable neighborhood just 15 min south of downtown San Diego! Rent is $1800/month, all bills included. If you like what you read, please call rather than email. Texting is fine as an intro, but a real phone call puts you at the head of the list, thanks! ABOUT THE UNIT: The apartment consists of a living room area, bedroom nook with queen-sized bed, large closet, large bathroom, kitchenette, a dedicated outdoor bistro patio, access to other outdoor spaces, and many other amenities! This unit is in the rear of a larger home with its own exterior entrance, intended for completely independent living. It is divided from the rest of the home by an interior door that locks on both sides duplex-style and is very well sound-proofed. HOME AMENITIES: - Fully stocked kitchenette: giant fridge, hotplates, large microwave, blender, grill, and a variety of other appliances. Cookware, utensils, pots and pans, plates, glasses, etc. all provided. - In place of a stove/oven, there is a brand-new, easy-to-clean portable ceramic cooktop, which does the trick nicely! There is a large stainless steel double-basin sink as pictured. This setup, though unusual, is very comfortable, and the common reaction from past tenants is "It works!" (Yes, this setup is more ideal for occasional/light cooking, but even frequent cook-ers have been very happy here!) (Plus, you may be able to borrow the main-home kitchen on rare special occasions). - Separate bedroom nook with queen-sized bed, workspace, and quasi-walk-in closet. - Large, comfortable bathroom with full-sized shower. OUTDOOR SPACES & OTHER FEATURES: - Gated driveway, wrap-around fenced yard, dedicated bistro patio for your exclusive use, plus communal patio with double lounger, umbrella table, and BBQ grill. - Onsite washer/dryer shared by all tenants. - Super-fast AT&T fiber WiFi + electric, sewage, trash all included. NEIGHBORHOOD: ~15 min to downtown San Diego and the Gaslamp, Coronado island, Imperial Beach, North Park, Hillcrest, and other central SD hotspots. Within a 5-10-minute walk: library, park, rec center, community lap pool, gyms, including a free outdoor gym right next to the house! Right down the street: countless restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and a "hopping" brewery scene (pun intended!) Very active nightlife nearby, yet the house is super-quiet and feels incredibly safe. ABOUT ME: My name is Diana. I am the homeowner and live in a separate unit on the property when I am in town, and I travel often. Hospitality is an important value for me - I want your stay here to be AMAZING! Your comfort and happiness are a priority. As your hostess/landlady, I will tend to your needs quickly and professionally. As your neighbor, I'm happy to create either an interactive, communal vibe... OR a very private, reserved vibe — up to you! LOGISTICAL DETAILS: - Move-in available asap. - Month-to-month lease; looking for an informal intention of at least 3-6 months. - Intended for one person.
