Forest Lake, just south of South Haven, MI This cottage is packed with features. The fully equipped cottage has everything you need other than food. All bedding, towels, kitchen, and living area are fully stocked and ready for you to enjoy. The 360 square feet are packed with a three-piece bathroom, kitchenette, lounge area, main bedroom (queen bed), and a bunk room (1 full, 1 twin ) provides a comfortable place for your escape to Forest Lake. The outside patio and access to Forest Lake and surrounding property make this a destination everyone will love. (Additional cot or air mattress provided on request for 5th and 6th guest). Let the weather guide your escape. Enjoy a beverage under the lights on the patio, roast marshmallows over a campfire, read a book, hike, enjoy lake views, swim, or kayak, all at this treasure in the woods! Forest Lake is an easy drive from major highways M-196 and I-94; and only a stone's throw away from the Van Buren State Park and the heart of South Haven. NeighborhoodForest Lake is nestled in 130 acres of wooded property, located on M-140 halfway between Covert and South Haven, Michigan. You can choose to take a short drive to local attractions during your stay or stay only on the property. Three major chain grocery stores are within 7 miles of Forest Lake, as well as several beaches, shops, restaurants, wineries, and breweries.
