San Francisco, CA – March 10, 2026 – Zumper, a leading rental marketplace and apartment marketing platform, today announced that current Chief Revenue Officer Shawn Mullahy was promoted to Chief Executive Officer by Co-Founder & previous CEO, Anthemos Georgiades. Anthemos will move to Chairman of the Board of Directors, where he will continue to play an active role in Zumper’s long-term vision and strategy.
Since joining Zumper in 2019, Shawn has helped guide the company’s evolution beyond its roots as a rental marketplace, working closely with product and sales leadership to expand Zumper’s solutions and support property operators across every stage of the leasing journey.
Anthemos, who co-founded Zumper and has served as CEO since 2012, established the company as one of the industry’s most recognized rental marketplaces. Under his leadership, Zumper grew into a mainstream and trusted platform for both renters and property operators while helping shape the future of proptech in multifamily. As Chairman of the Board, he will remain closely connected to the company’s strategy and continued growth.
