This Zumper Market Demand Report studied several thousand emails and calls (inquiries) to rental properties in Portland to determine renter interest.

Commanding the majority of renter interest this month, two bedroom units generated 37% of inquiries at a median inquiry price of $1,450. One bedroom units were the next most in demand, producing 30% of inquiries at a median price of $1,050. Studios followed that with 23% of inquiries at $890.
With neither bedroom types hitting a double digit inquiry percentage, three and four bedroom units had the least amount of renter interest. Three bedroom units generated 6% of inquiries at a median of $1,850 while four bedroom units produced 4% of inquiries at $2,300.

Northwest District is Portland’s most in demand neighborhood this month, sending 13% more inquiries than second place, Multnomah.
Méthodologie
