This Zumper Market Demand Report studied several thousand emails and calls (inquiries) to rental properties in D.C. to determine renter interest.

One bedroom apartments commanded the majority of renter interest this month, generating 35% of inquiries at a median inquiry price of $1,800. Two bedroom units were the next most in demand, producing 29% of inquiries at a median of $2,550. Studios were third, commanding 24% of inquiries at $1,450.
Three and four bedroom units had the least amount of renter interest. Three bedrooms generated 8% of inquiries at a median price of $3,100, while four bedrooms produced 4% at $4,000.

Northeast neighborhood Brookland is D.C’s most in demand neighborhood this month, sending 12% more inquiries than second place, Columbia Heights.

Les quartiers sont classés selon le nombre total de demandes générées pour identifier les 10 zones les plus recherchées. Les demandes sont également ventilées par type de logement (nombre de chambres), avec le prix médian correspondant, afin de mettre en évidence les logements les plus demandés et les prix les plus élevés.
