Zoo Lights

One of the city’s most beloved holiday traditions returns for its seventh year, once again transforming the zoo into a winter wonderland. Sip hot chocolate as you stroll through the fifteen miles of LED lights illuminating the beautiful Houston Zoo grounds’ ancient oak trees and paths. This holiday spectacle features a giant Holiday Tree, the Holiday Train Village, Enchanted Forest, and Candy, the interactive talking zebra.

Cirque du Soleil Luzia

Cirque du Soleil brings its “waking dream of Mexico” to Sam Houston Race Park. The surrealistic series presents grand visual surprises and breathtaking acrobatic performances. ‘Luzia’ brings the sights and sounds of traditional and modern Mexico to the stage.

Magical Winter Lights

This spectacular, larger-than-life festival brings a fresh, multicultural take on traditional holiday light shows. Take an enchanted journey through the largest lantern festival of its kind in the US, with more than 100 individual lantern sets in eight unique themed sections. Tour lantern renditions of landmarks of the world, the Christmas village, skylines of Houston, the mysterious East, the Dino Fun Zone, and more!

Fleetwood Mac

The legendary, Grammy award winning band Fleetwood Mac (well, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks, and Christine McVie and newcomers Mike Campbell and Neil Finn) will be playing all your favorite hits at the Toyota Center!

Houston Hot Air Balloon Festival & Polo Match
The 2019 Houston Hot Air Balloon Festival & Victory Cup Polo Match is held on a large field just minutes from downtown. It features dozens of vendors, chefs, live music, artists, pop-up art galleries, a wine tasting tent, a battle of the chefs tasting competition, polo matches, a kids play area, and, of course, hot air balloons! Get there bright and early for the morning launch, or arrive later for the evening glows and tethered rides.

Christmas Village at Bayou Bend

It’s not too late to celebrate Christmas! The beautiful Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens invites you and yours to start a new holiday tradition with their immersive Christmas experience. Cross a dazzling bridge and find yourself in a winter wonderland with thousands of lights dotting the 14-acre estate. Take a tour of Ima Hogg’s historic mansion; see a model train circle the 12-foot Christmas tree; go sledding down a faux-snow slide; have a cotton-snowball fight; listen to the carolers; take photos with Santa; and, find gifts at the Shop at Bayou Bend!
